Dark Fables: Whispers of the Abyss

Alas, to his bad luck, the huge electronic door was shut tightly, blinking a bright red on the top. A cold chill air doomed over him sending a shiver through Rylan’s spine as he stood there, unable to process, in denial. 


"No! Damn it!" he silently cursed under his breath. Punching the hard steel door. 


"I did not sign up for this fricking mess!" he slammed the door again and again but to no avail. 


Rylan’s breath hitched as he heard the dragging of chains coming closer to him. In all the adrenaline rush he was breathing uncontrollably but at the sound of those horrifying chains he let out a miserable groan. Clenching his trembling hands into a fist, he braced himself for another dreadful encounter. 


But before he could let out another sigh, a hand grabbed him from the side and pulled him inside another room near the endless hallway.
