Damon stood there frozen, gazing down at the multitudes of tanks bearing down on his walls. As the first block fell, his mind snapped back to reality. "What the hell are you all gawking at! Move! Assemble the troops at the front and someone activate the goddamn sensors!"
They flew about like headless chickens as the terrifying sound of crumbling rocks resonated on their lonely stronghold. Darkness enveloped them and only the spark before the explosion outside could be seen within the walls.
He grabbed on radio as he ascended to the top of the building. His steps led him to the farthest and most hidden room in his stronghold. At the doors of the room were two large men who bowed down as he approached them. "Get ready, we'll be transferring him tonight."
He pushed open the doors and entered the dark room. In the middle was a large bed covered in dark curtains.
