Janus

Janus was silent throughout his mother’s whole explanation. Mateo. Alto. The guy he randomly bumped into on the street in Clearborne. Was it really by random chance? Or was this meant to happen?

“This guy, Vernon, he’s in the Commonwealth now?”

“Yes, he’s teaching at the Sunken, Mateo definitely knows him.”

“Alto,”

“Right.”

“So what am I to do now? I have a mission here and I don’t want to waste any time,” Janus pressed. The amount of information he was taking in was making him frustrated and confused, but he persisted.

“Janus, we want you to go find him again. He’ll understand, he’ll teach you how to control your powers,” Kamila said.

“How did you even know about my powers? Never mind, don’t answer that I don’t need to know.” Janus’s head was throbbing. Liars. I could have protected Titania if I knew what was coming. I can’t find Vernon. I’m running out of time. “I don’t even know anything about my own parents,” he spat.
