Chapter 58: “Can’t wait.”

“That much was expected,” he laughed handing me the black current flavored ice-cream cone.

On his insistence we had just bought ice-cream and were now walking to our usual spot in the park again. I could tell the ice cream was one of his ways to help me cheer up but sharing my thoughts about yesterday with him already made me feel much better, not to forget the long session with Charlie and Blu had already helped me see right from wrong.

“You should have seen her face when I first told her about Andrew’s father and everything he had told me related to Anna and his family, she was legit close to tears and Charlie was acting all tough but he was clearly moved by his story too-” I spoke pausing to lick the melting part of the ice-cream.

“But then when I told her that it was all a lie their face twisted in confusion and then they started cursing him out as a two faced playing bastard,” I continued reciting what had happened yesterday in the club and after that.
