“Uh I never thought that you would actually call me, so I didn’t have anything planned but how about I take you to the movies this Friday?” he asked hopefully.
Denise rolled her eyes from beside me probably unimpressed by his confession and lack of smooth talk. It seemed like he was not very experienced in talking to girls and getting their attention which is odd because he looked very cute.
If I wasn’t on a mission to hurt boys, I might have given him a chance.
“Friday works fine for me. I’ll send you my address so that you can come pick me up.”
Now that the deal was made, I had no longer any interest in talking to him.
I had already entertained him for way long and although it was fun while it lasted, I had places to be and people to meet.

it is indeed one of the best stories ever read by me ....the simplicity with which the author is portraying the real life scenario of probably many messed up teens these days is commendable...i am in love with scarlet cause honestly i can relate to her...the scarlet way of dealing with things is just soo fascinating to read...cant wait to read more...
The story is really well written and the character development so far is flowing well. I also like the small interviews at the end of each chapter. it's like a small insight about the characters.
The character designs and interactions are all so amazing. Normally I wouldn't read anything similar to this, but felt compelled by the expressive and descriptive writing that fits this story, with it's heartstring pulling developments. Well done Author.
Simple language...attention grabbing storyline....relatable much? Hell yeah. Really good job coming up with these characters especially scarlet..ou that's a sinister one. Looking forward to see more of these arresting stories.

Just the first chapter and I'm hooked already! I love the female lead! I love the storyline. I easily get tired of reading novels nowadays because it's always the same storyline but this story is different and I love it!
