The room was brightly lit and seemed comfier and homely than other hospital rooms as was expected of a VIP room. Of course it had all the equipment that were needed for the patient’s treatment but the extra facilities and the additional furniture they had added in the room surely differentiated normal from luxury.
I paused by the corner of the wall hiding from her view as I peered at Denise who laid in her bed, staring above. Much color had returned to her face and her eyes had returned back to normal except for the deep dark circles around them that she must have hid with makeup before. Her blonde hair was done in a ponytail neatly, taming the previous mess they had been in before.
