“Uh I never thought that you would actually call me, so I didn’t have anything planned but how about I take you to the movies this Friday?” he asked hopefully.

Denise rolled her eyes from beside me probably unimpressed by his confession and lack of smooth talk. It seemed like he was not very experienced in talking to girls and getting their attention which is odd because he looked very cute.

If I wasn’t on a mission to hurt boys, I might have given him a chance. 

“Friday works fine for me. I’ll send you my address so that you can come pick me up.”

Now that the deal was made, I had no longer any interest in talking to him.
I had already entertained him for way long and although it was fun while it lasted, I had places to be and people to meet.

Damn These Boys!

“Well now that you have had a small romantic rendezvous can we get back to the matter at hand I have other work to get to?” 


I blushed at Julian’s words while Alex seemed to have beamed at this. I had begged him to let me get back to our table before him but he rigidly took my hands and came back together with me. 


I hope Julian doesn’t think too much into it! 


“Now for the contract, here it is,” He said putting black leather bound file in front of us. 


It seemed like he came prepared and already quite sure that I would accept his contract. I was curious now as to what this contract was about and so glancing at Alex once I reached out to take the file. 


Opening the file I expected it to be filled with complicated looking pages full of small words but instead there was only a single page. On it were just three sentences written in a serial order. 


Alex leaned over me to get a better view making me shift the file in between for the two of us to read together.
