“Did you miss me?” Sauntering inside like he owns the place; Alex pulls out the chair at Laura’s working table and plants his firm ass on it. He seems to be much more jovial than usual after the picnic yesterday. At least one of us is in a good mood after the turn of events. The Anna incident still had me a little shook but I must admit, later seeing Alex play with her must be the cutest thing god had graced upon my eyes.
“What is it today?” I ask a guilty looking Laura who nervously stroked her hair and avoiding my eyes embarrassedly replied, “Pineapple cake.”
I looked at Fionna who was stood in front of the full-length mirror, on making eye contact we both sighed and shook our heads disapprovingly at her.
“Oh, come on! Don’t act like you don’t eat the food he brings. You both are equally guilty!” Laura whines plopping herself on the bed beside me.
