“Uh I never thought that you would actually call me, so I didn’t have anything planned but how about I take you to the movies this Friday?” he asked hopefully.

Denise rolled her eyes from beside me probably unimpressed by his confession and lack of smooth talk. It seemed like he was not very experienced in talking to girls and getting their attention which is odd because he looked very cute.

If I wasn’t on a mission to hurt boys, I might have given him a chance. 

“Friday works fine for me. I’ll send you my address so that you can come pick me up.”

Now that the deal was made, I had no longer any interest in talking to him.
I had already entertained him for way long and although it was fun while it lasted, I had places to be and people to meet.

Damn These Boys!

“So, girls try to relax yourself before the performance I’ll be back in a minute I’ll just show my sister out. By the way I want to hear a loud ‘Thank you’ for her hard work,” Blu jokingly commanded her teammates who were all busy in getting ready or trying to calm their nerves. 


On hearing her, the seven of them erupted in strings of ‘thank you’ and praises and I loudly wished them luck before exiting out of their dressing room. 


“You can really do magic with your hands, look at me I look beautiful,” Blu excitedly said while hugging me causing me to chuckle. 


Carefully pinching her nose, I cheered, “You always look beautiful. Aren’t you the prettier twin?” 


“Yeah that’s true,” Flipping back her hair she arrogantly agreed causing me to lightly slap her on her shoulder making us both giggle. 


“Do your best out there. Remember winning is not everything,” I motivated her and then softly added, “but still it would be good if you did win.”
