Restarting a Project

"Did you notice something about Aiolos?" Hansen asked. Although this is not the first time they saw Aiolos' condition, it was much more severe than before.

"I think Aiolos seems stronger. Before this, a bottle of Health and Stamina is enough for him to recover a little. Today, the potions look like they did nothing at all." Alrune added.

"I think Aiolos is paying more attention to Hansen. Look at his sword, it's a named sword, you know?" Yesha, the thief of the team, revealed her jealousy on Hansen's weapon.

"Cmon! Yesha! You know Aiolos is not like that! If he's not exhausted, he might be able to make another weapon for you too!" Hansen disturbs Yesha to make her stop thinking about it. Although he's happy for having his new weapon first amongst them, he'll have to keep that happiness within until the others had one.

"Test that weapon. We must see what the Scarlet Blood can do!" Pharcis pulled Hansen's wrist as they quickly descend to the first layer. In Heaven Dungeon, the level of a creature is rated according to which stage they're at.

And in the first layer, their level varied from 1 to 10, with the random boss capped at 11 or at most, 12. That means a school of wolves might have a mixture from level 1 to 10, depending on how strong is their group.

Also, like the crest holders, the monsters are capable of leveling.

It will take them one kill to obtain that achievement, and from that moment onwards, the monster is capable of becoming sentient. Of course, not all sentient monsters are aggressive individuals, but most of them have an intense hatred towards the outsider.

"Sword Smack!" Hansen grabbed the opportunity of a surprise attack and smashed a slime. The Scarlet Blood ends up being used as a hammer to defeat the level 1 slime. A core falls onto the ground after the Scarlet Blood returns to Hansen's back.

"We have two more slimes incoming!" Alrune knocked her staff at a protruded stone nearby to create a humming vibration. It also acts as her monster alarm when they're collecting the drops.

"Yesha! I'll need you to handle the slime on the left. Pharcis, your right, please!" Alrune, the healer, controlled the positioning of the three as she monitors their surrounding.

"Pharcis, come back! Hansen, it's your turn!" Alrune cast a Quick Heal on the returning Pharcis as she stares at the foolish Hansen charging at the slime.

"Rah! Eat my sword!" the slime with less than 15% of its total life points was cut into two parts. And because Alrune did not sound her alarm, Hansen took about five steps left and howled.

"Wind Slash!" a sharp blade of wind gathered on the Scarlet Blood. And with a mighty swing, the sharp edge cuts through the slime, killing it thoroughly.

"Ding!" the monster alarm vibrates.

"What? So fast!" Hansen complained, but instead of trying to keep the loot inside his Item-Box, he tossed the body and core closer to Alrune.

"Hansen! Help Pharcis!" Alrune ordered. Yesha is standing by her side and protecting her while Alrune cast another Quick Heal. Alrune quickly adjusted her position, moving closer to where Hansen and Pharcis are fighting.

As for Yesha, she moves forward and collected the corpse and core before selecting a target. It was an odd couple of a Swift Wolf and a Slime attacking together.

"Hah! Slid!" Yesha charged at the monsters before she suddenly slides past underneath them. Her skill is capable of turning the ground slippery during her slid activation, which helps her prepare for an attack faster. She can attack immediately after the Slid Skill because both daggers are still on her hands.

"Twin Slash!" two flying sword beam cuts through the Swift Wolf and Slime.

"Again... - Ding..." As Yesha getting herself ready to conduct a lunge, Alrune's monster alarm rang. She pointed her staff at the monster as she's getting ready for a melee battle.

"Rah! Flame Slash!" suddenly, a wall of flames cuts in between the monsters and Alrune. Both sides stop moving for a breath of time.

And that one breath of time is what Yesha needs. Her dagger stabs deep into the Swift Wolf, killing it on where it stays. Her killing blow surprised the slime. In that split second, the monster slammed straight onto Yesha's face, leaving her face battered.

"Ah!" her cry attracts the attention of the other three.

"Full Heal!" Alrune cast her most powerful healing spell. As for Hansen, he made a powerful half-moon swing at the monster, injuring both his and Pharcis's target. At the same time, he borrowed the momentum to escape the engagement while pulling the gathered aggression with him.

"Rising Dragon Dance!!!" Pharcis finally used her one-hit-kill attack. An upward spiraling attack sent both Swift Wolves up in the air before falling down and drop dead from the damage.

Hansen stabs the slime using his Scarlet Blood.

"Xiii..." the slime deflated. It turned into a rubbery balloon texture after dying. But instead of dropping a core at death, a long, human thigh sized radish came out from the sword wound.

"Hahaha! The monster must have too much of Yesha's face powder! It ends up turning into a radish!" Hansen laughed. The Full Heal spell finally surrounds Yesha and heals her face from the bruises and other wounds.

Then...

"Dok - Ow! Wait - Dok - Dok - Dok - Wait!!! - Dok - Dok -Dok!!!" Yesha used her skill, Mug, and Toss, together to attack Hansen using the pebbles around her. Although she's healed, a part of the face powder she used in the morning has disappeared from her face.

She angrily grabs the slime up. Turning the corpse around, she discovered the remnants of her makeup on the monster.

"Aargh!" Yesha scream and chased Hansen, who got immediately caught within five seconds. He got beaten by her for making a comment about her makeup.

In total, they killed three Swift Wolves and four slimes. Out of the four blobs, they collected three cores and a stick of radish. And that's wasn't all.

From where the two wolves came, there was a protruding rock winking at them. Since the first layer of Heaven Dungeon adapted a Cavernous design, there's hardly sunlight inside here. The walls that releasing dim lighting are what illuminating their surroundings.

And that's also why the stone that winks at them with blinding lights looks attractive.

"Go. This is what Aiolos made for us," Pharcis took a stick out from her waist. When a part from each one of them is assembled together, a simple but effective pickaxe is formed. The pickaxe had an effect of [Ore Collection], allowing them to harvest the ores without shattering this boulder into small pieces.

That's also why some products from Crafting God is in high demand. Like Barcus, the lower-tiered Crafting God that sells Aiolos a slime-made mattress, his craft is popular amongst the crest holders. It is due to the effect of [Fatigue Removal] that's present in all his furniture craft.

"Ding - Ding - Ding - Ding - Ding" five pieces of ore drops from the boulder about the height of Hansen. It must be around 1,000 to 1,200kg in weight.

After they collected the available ores, herbs, and corpses, the party continued. They've only used half of the storage space from the available Item-Box.

Meanwhile...

"Sold!" Aiolos collected three copper coins from another lower-tiered Crafting God.

"Sold!" 16 copper crystals from the Medicine God.

With the sacks emptied, Aiolos made his way to Micos' Trade Shop.

"Is Micos around?" Aiolos asked. His tone is similar to how a harp suddenly rhymed and captivated the female workers as he stands near their cashier. No matter what's the differences between mortal and god, the attraction from something nice is always breathtaking.

"What's wrong with you? It's a rare thing you're two days straight," Micos signaled him to come in. Back to the table again, Aiolos took 20 weapons out of his palm.

"Did you keep it somewhere and found it a while ago? But it doesn't look like that. The weapon is too clean." Micos inspects the craft as he cracks a conversation with Aiolos. That's their usual way of conversation.

"My skill grew. I think I can refine some better quality armor soon. Maybe, the item that I've been aiming to do for so long?" Aiolos shared. Micos was the most familiar god of his because they're born at the same time. By telling this also explains why he had additional weapons for sale.

"The Theutates Band?" Micos pressed his hand on the blades without getting injured. But he's deeply interested in what he just said.

"The craft Aiolos has been trying but failed. How amazing could it be?" one by one, the weapon flew onto the shelf. While in his hand, forty copper crystals are placed inside a small pouch.

"Wish me luck," Aiolos received the pouch.

"Yes. You'll need it. Also, be careful when you explore the dungeon. I know that you're stubborn, but always make sure that you know your limit," Micos tapped at Aiolos' chest as he gives him some advice.

"I know," he left Micos' shop after they're finished talking.

Halfway till the Sanctuary entrance, Aiolos felt he's missing something. Turning his head and look around, he noticed something different about the Mining Store today.

"Krik..." the door opened, showing the collection of ores to Aiolos then moment he came inside. Although 80% of the ores mainly belonged to the Tianyuan Iron category, the remaining 20% is filled with precious gems, and sometimes, essence.

Even the denominated crystals are possibly hidden inside the ore. And it is depending on how lucky is the god buying them.

"Hey, Aiolos. Shopping before they came back?" the owner of this store, Lower-Tiered Mineral God, Artos, greets Aiolos. There's nothing much to keep secret about, be it about Aiolos' habit of waiting for his holders, or about him stalking Tetros.

"Yes. Please sell me this chest of ores," Aiolos pointed at a material chest. Inside it is filled with uneven ores, some big and small. And because they're literally a wasteful purchase, it's been sitting inside Artos' shop for quite some time.

"How about 50 copper crystals?" Artos flicked his fingers before pointing at Aiolos.

Aiolos stares at this god that has no shame. After a sigh, he turned around, ready to leave, but was held back.

"Wait! 40! 40 copper crystals!" Artos held Aiolos' arm. But he remained quiet.

"Last price! 35!" Artos made a three with his left and a palm on his right. Adding them up together, that's 35 copper crystals.

"Alright. I'll take it." a pouch with 35 copper crystals sits on Artos' hand. As for him, Aiolos brought the chest all over to his shoulder and left the shop without dilly-dallying.

It was right on time. Hansen flew into his chest like an arrow, with the girls surrounding him.
