Chapter 3 - One Night Stand

Daisy left her room as soon as she saw the open apartment door. Zen opened the door for a woman in very scanty clothes.

Daisy's face froze. Then a moment later she tried to turn his face away.

"Ready, honey?" asked the woman spoiling to Zen. Zen cleared his throat and led the woman into his room. After that, he looked at Daisy who said nothing but the gulp she was taking.

Zen's bedroom door closed. There was also the sound of the bedroom door is locked. Then a few moments later heard a sigh from the mercenary woman. Daisy frowned, both disgusted and annoyed. She put the glass down with a slam without breaking.

Again, the sound of a pleasurable scream rang out. Daisy was really upset to hear that. But she was already in her room. Daisy had heard screams like that before, but not as loud as she was hearing now. She doesn't know what Zen did to the woman, Daisy suddenly wondered how it felt.

Zen quickly accomplished what he wanted. Paid the woman after and made her leave and never come back. Zen was instantly satisfied.

"Oh, done already?" Daisy asked mockingly.

Zen just cleared his throat. He is shirtless. Take the mineral water and ignore Daisy.

"I wonder why that woman screamed so loudly," said Daisy starting the topic. Though he knows what Zen just did

Still, Zen didn't make a sound. He immediately rushed to his room. But Daisy made him stop. "I'm talking to you, Zen!" For the first time, Daisy dared to call his name out loud. Zen then turned around.

"You want it? Want to feel what that woman feels?" Zen asked.

"I'm not that low!"

"So better shut up, think about the document and the questions you want to ask."

"I've already written my question," Daisy replied, showing the paper she had flown in front of her.

Zen came closer and grabbed the paper. He reads quickly and carefully. Then his eyes looked at Daisy while sitting in front of Daisy.

"Okay, tomorrow I will answer it," said Zen.

"Now. I want it now."

It never occurred to Zen that he would go along with Daisy shopping alone. Usually, he is with his guard, but Daisy's request before marriage is to be accompanied by Zen for shopping. She doesn't know what the motive was, but Zen was already alert. He would not allow himself to be fooled by any woman including Daisy.

Stiff and mute, that was all Zen felt. He never once accompanied a woman shopping. Because all this time he was only busy working and hiring women for the sake of his lust.

Daisy messed him up. And Zen seemed to be bewitched by his desire.

"Come on, go home," said Zen.

"I'm hungry. We can eat at the food court here."

"No. We'll eat at the restaurant of my choice. Come on!" This time Zen dared to hold Daisy's wrist forcefully. Not tight, not loose either. He just wanted to get away from the crowd.

Daisy didn't say much when she arrived at Zen's restaurant of choice. He smiled at Zen who took off his hat and hoodie to cover up the identity of a billionaire.

"Are you that scared of the crowd just now?" Daisy asked.

"Sometimes things have to be avoided from the prying eyes of scouts."

"Who the hell is stalking you? I think your life is fine with your tight guard."

Zen looked at the chattering Daisy curiously. He didn't answer Daisy's curiosity.

"Come on, order what you want to eat and drink," said Zen.

"I don't usually eat classy food. So, I suggest something simple, maybe," said Daisy, who was busy flipping through the menu because she didn't know what to order.

"Earlier you ate classy food with me, Daisy."

"But this restaurant is too fancy."

"Hurry up and don't play with me," Zen ordered loudly.

Daisy's lips pursed. He finally ordered the menu she was interested in. At least her stomach is filled than not at all.

"Zen," Daisy called. Zen was busy with his phone and he glanced at Daisy for a while before turning back on his phone again.

Daisy cleared her throat. It had been more than a week since he had been with Zen without any clarity. This time Daisy wanted to say something. Even though it feels heavy and feels weird.

"Yes?" said Zen.

Suddenly the sound of sobs rang in Zen's ears. Daisy was crying. Zen glanced to the right and left. "Hey, what's wrong? Did I make a mistake?"

"You made a mistake from the start, Zen. You took over my life. Now, what can I do but say that I want to be your wife?" Daisy said in a low sob.

Zen breathed a sigh of relief. He will not be easily melted by a woman's tears. So, he was a little relieved to hear Daisy's answer. "Wipe your tears, the food will come soon," he said later.

"Are you sure about that woman, Zen?" asked Neva, her mother.

"Her name is Daisy, Mom. And yes, I'm sure. You will love it."

"How can I like it if you haven't brought it here yet?"

"Probably shortly, Mom."

"Okay. I will be waiting for him."

After Zen explained a little about Daisy, he continued to swim. Yes, it's Zen if you come to Neva's house only when you want to sunbathe and swim. Because if he did those two things in his apartment, he couldn't face the crowd.

After an hour of swimming, Zen immediately got up and sat on the sundeck. He opened his cellphone and found messages as well as several missed calls from Tino, his subordinates.

Daisy disappeared.

Zen's breath hitched as he read Tino's last message. He did promise to release Daisy as soon as Daisy answered that she wanted to marry Zen. But Zen never thought that Daisy would run away or disappear.

Zen tried many times to call Daisy's number. The number and cellphone that have been facilitated by Zen, but nothing, are not active.

Zen was finally ready to make a potluck and rushed as fast as possible. He went to Daisy's house, Daisy's mother's house to be precise.

"So, you don't know where she is?" asked Zen then.

Weiske shook her head weakly. But the look in her eyes was hiding something, making Zen suspicious.

"I'll look for her. But, Mrs. Weiske... if you try to hide Daisy from me, I won't stay silent. Maybe Daisy will stay with me without seeing her mother here," Zen threatened.

Weiske was silent. She didn't answer Zen's words. Until Zen stood up about to leave, Weiske held his hand. "Zen... I'm sorry... I..."

"Just say it. If you say it now, then everything will be fine. I just want Daisy to stay with me for a whole week as punishment." Zen had known beforehand that Weiske had indeed been hiding about Daisy being missing.

"She's at his friend's house, Zen. His name is Reza," Weiske said, shaking.

"Friend?" Zen furrowed his brows. Apparently, Daisy referred to Reza in front of her mother as a friend, not a lover.

Weiske nodded. "Yes, Zen. A college friend. I'll write down the address."

"No, ma'am. I know the address. Thanks for your honesty. I'm sorry."

Never play with fire with a billionaire Boss who knows how to find his prey. Zen is such a person. His hardened jaw, two pitch-black eyes, showed how he was so filled with emotion and anger for Daisy.

Reza, the man who is Daisy's boyfriend, makes Zen feel jealous. He should have killed Reza earlier so Daisy wouldn't have to run to him. Moreover, Weiske only knew Reza as a college friend.

Until Reza's house, Zen's men did not come. He left them where they were. Zen had to come to Daisy in person.

With no manners in anger, Zen forced his way through the door of Reza's house.

Instantly Zen's eyes found them biting each other's lips who had been surprised by the sound of Zen's door slamming.

"Daisy!" he whispered with an emphasis that was accompanied by anger.
