Chapter 22 - Still Beautiful, Charming, & Hot As Usual

"Have you made love to Daisy?" asked Dito, Zen's friend who appeared after a long time not visiting Zen's office since the last time they met.

Zen just snorted annoyed at Dito's question. The reason is, Dito asked as if he already knew that Zen and Daisy had made love last night. Makes Zen shudder a little in horror because Dito is like a fortune-teller.

"I'm guessing, you've made love to her who is still a virgin? How does it feel?" tease Dito.

"How did you know Daisy was a virgin?" Zen asked. In fact, he himself knows what a woman who is and is not a virgin looks like. It's just that seeing his best friend discussing virginity made him quite curious.

Dito snapped his fingers in front of Zen. "It's easy to guess, Zen ... Daisy looks fresh, looks really fresh and nice to look at, don't you see that?"

All right, Zen thought. From the start, Daisy looked as fresh as fresh meat. Even after making love, Daisy is still pleasing to the eye.

"I'm just curious where you learned from. As far as I know, you're pretty unlucky about women," Zen said mockingly.

"Damn you!" And they laughed together. "But how, have you?" asked Dito back to the original question. Zen stood up and grabbed the documents he was going to take to the meeting room. Then he looked at Dito with a laugh-resistant face.

"Guess what you are," and Zen immediately disappeared from Dito's sight.

Reading novels and replacing them with films makes Daisy quite bored. She spends his time in the apartment without a friend. The lecture was also empty so she studied in an apartment. Daisy couldn't even lie because she knew whether Daisy's courses were vacated or not.

Suddenly Daisy was lost. Recalling the night that had happened between her and Zen. And it's unbelievable that she's not a virgin anymore.

Daisy rushed into the guest bathroom, staring intently at her face. Check out what was different when she was and wasn't a virgin. Unfortunately, Daisy can not match it.

"Still beautiful, charming, and hot as usual," said a voice that Daisy knew so well.

Daisy looked up in surprise. She really had been surprised by Zen as often as he did now. Feeling nervous because Zen knows what Daisy is thinking.

"Why are you surprising me more often?" Daisy asked annoyed and at the same time tried to change the topic. She came out of the bathroom and returned to her seat.

"Aren't you bored here? I wanted to ask you out because you look bored."

"Where are we going?"

"Where are you going?"

"Swim!" Daisy exclaimed cheerfully.

Zen shook his head with a gloomy face. "I don't want your body to be seen by the men over there."

It's useless, Daisy thought. Why ask where if Daisy's wish is not allowed. Daisy was just silent and looked back at the television which was still playing the movie.

"So, where are we going, Daisy?" asked Zen then.

"Think about it for yourself. When I tell you, you always disagree."

Zen sighed. He just looked at Daisy then went to his room to change clothes. To be honest, Zen is also confused about where to go. The reason for asking Daisy out to overcome boredom is so that Zen can spend more time with Daisy.

"Come on, let's go out," said Zen then who was already neatly dressed in his casual clothes.

"So where are you going?"

"Just get out. It's going to be easy, we'll think as we go," Zen finally answered.

"I don't want to waste time, Zen!"

"Daisy ... hurry up. Change. Your clothes!" Zen orders are a little bit harsh. He didn't like the way Daisy said things like that. As if being with him was a waste of time. But Zen won't give up. Daisy was already a little more livid under him. It would be easier to make her fall in love with him.

Their relationship is still stiff. Even though the two of them were already in love. Zen still had a strange feeling for Daisy for the first time. Usually, the woman he sleeps with keeps wanting to be heard. But Daisy is different. The slightest look Zen didn't want to get.

As if an idea occurred to him, Zen wanted to take her to street food that he never touched except for meatballs near Daisy's campus. What Zen knows, Daisy prefers street food than in a restaurant. Until they reached the curb, Daisy gasped.

One eyebrow raised and for a few seconds alternately, Daisy stared at the street food and Zen's face. "Get over here?" Daisy asked incredulously.

"Come on, offer me the food you like," Zen challenged.

"Are you sure?"

Zen gave a full nod and they went downstairs.

The reality was not as beautiful as Zen thought. Whether this is Daisy's work or this is how it feels when eaten, but eating, and finishing the chicken satay makes Zen weak. It's not the taste, but Zen doesn't really like satay or foods that come from nuts.

Zen struggles to hold back his saliva every now and then, which makes him nauseous from the satay seasoning. Meanwhile, Daisy kept telling him to finish the chicken satay that had been ordered.

"Delicious, right? Chicken satay is one of my favorite foods," said Daisy cheerfully.

Seeing the way Daisy was talking, Zen was sure that Daisy wasn't playing tricks on him. "I've never had satay this good," said Zen, struggling to finish off the remaining two skewers.

"But I'm getting full," he added.

"Yeah, finish it first, and then don't eat anymore. I'm starting to get full too."

It took Zen five minutes to finish off the two remaining skewers. After that he took a sip of the sweet iced tea, removing the peanut sauce remnants that were in his mouth. Only then did Zen feel relieved.

"Wait a minute, I'll go to the toilet first," said Daisy, who went straight to the public toilet in a hurry.

While in the public toilet which is available on the side of the road, with an unpleasant smell that is quite pungent to the nose, Daisy hastily finished her business and got out of there. But something else made her stop. Daisy bumps into someone coming from the men's restroom.

"Daisy? Wow! We meet again!" Daisy's still unfamiliar voice startled her when she turned her head. Daisy hastily looked at Zen who luckily Zen didn't see, then took the man away from the eyes that Zen could see.

"Devan! You followed me, didn't you?" Daisy asked a little annoyed. Because she met Devan often like a coincidence.

Devan chuckled and sighed. She glanced at Zen who was still waiting for Daisy. "So, have you asked Zen about he has children?"

The thought of Zen having a child flashed through Daisy's head again. She didn't want to prolong it though. Especially considering that Zen is currently trying to make her happy.

Daisy shook her head. Makes Devan gloomy and displeased. "Why?"

"Devan, I don't know what your motive is for telling me this. But clearly, Zen has children or not, I appreciate the reason for hiding it from me. So, I don't want to be rude to him," Daisy explained and was about to leave.

But Devan grabbed Daisy's wrist until their bodies touched each other. The two stared at each other, but Daisy immediately came to her senses and walked away.

"I-I have to go back," Daisy said nervously and actually left Devan who was still standing where he was, staring at Daisy.

Devan who watched Daisy walk away from him just smiled wryly. He thought Daisy was indeed very charming compared to Kanya. I don't know what got into him, Daisy had to be mine, at least make her fall in love, or compete with Zen for Daisy, he thought.
