Every day
Is a day
You’ve never
Seen before.

It was as if I had never left.
I woke up in my bed. Just as I had been before I'd previously died. The blanket was still arm, and the crescent moon dangling like a crooked smile in the night sky.
It was different. Everything felt new to me all over again. As if I hadn't personally decorated this room myself.
Baozi poked his head out of my covers, his voice resonating throughout the room.
"Master, can you believe we're back already? Wonder how it'll feel like for you now? Considering the fact that your wayyyy older than anyone you know."
Well, one thing that hasn't changed is the fact that Baozi still inadvertently manages to insult me while showing concern. It's a special talent of his, I assume.
"Keep talking and I'll use your feathers as stuffing for my pillow." I deadpan.
