With that decided Red then opened his skill Windom and looked at what his options were for water magic

Disclaimer: the following wording, is what Red's mind basically read

-High water magic: Unlocks the ultimate move for Water magic and buffs for water magic

-Ice magic: Allows the use of ice magic

-Water healing: Water magic used for support

And when he clicked to see the little demonstration video of the ultimate, he saw that the ultimate invoke a freaking water whale. And he couldn't help but want the whale

Then he checked one thing to be sure

*Click on the ice magic*

[Do you want to turn Water magic into ice magic? (Yes/No)]

"No"

[Do you want to create a new skill called ice magic for 10 skill points? (Yes/No)]

"*Looks at his amount of skill points* Yes"

And with that he got ice magic and high water magic, with that settled, he then went to check his option for his fire magic

-High fire magic: Unlocks the ultimate move for fire magic and buffs for fire magic

-Explosion magi-

[Do you want to turn Fire magic into explosion magic? (Yes/No)]

"EXPROOOOOOOOSION!!! *Presses yes*"

And he proceeded to level up his explosion magic to level 10 and to upgrade it to high explosion magic

"Alright! Let's see if there's any other skill I might want... No, actually I should give a little read to the Explosion magic explanation

[Explosion magic warning: This magic affects both the user and its allies, should they be within the effective attack range]

"... Yeah... It'll be double the fun"

And with that settled, he opened the skill page and looked at the available skills

"Meh... Meh... Heh... Swordsmanship? That's for noobs... Earth magic? Let's give it a look... ... ... Can I see the upgraded version? No? Then let's look at the forums... ... ... Well, it doesn't cost a lot for me to try it, and maybe one of the branches will allow me to invoke a meteor, that would be rad... Int boost? Sure, since I now have EXPROOOOOOOOSION magic!... Wind magic?... Okay, why not... ... ... And I think that's it for new skills"

With that done he went back to his skills, as he selected which skills he would level up

"Max level slap, Max and upgrade throwing, max and upgrade Str boost, max and upgrade int boost... Max level Spearmanship"

[Spearmanship reached level 10. You can now choose between heavyweight polearm or lightweight polearm]

"Hmmm... Lightweight polearm"

[Spearmanship changed to Lightweight polearm]

"Now... Level up Shieldmanship to 5... Hmm... I still have 10 more skill points left... Hmm... I guess I'll save them for now"

And with that Red finished managing all his skills

"Alright! Time to test my new skills" *Jumps down from the tree*

And as always in this story, he crushed a rabbit by landing on top of it. And went on his way to test his new skills

Some days later

"Oh good! They're going to change the combat mechanic for a more fluid one"

Red was checking the official game site for the news of the new update the game would be receiving tomorrow, as he got up from the respawn point

A little earlier

"Heh! Another easy catch"

Red funding his stealth as he put his bow back to his inventory, and went to pick up the loot the boar dropped, then a goblin spawned right next to him

"!?"

Surprising him, but he was quick to react at that

"HYAH! SORYA!"

And he sent his usual ax kick combo, sending the goblin flying backward, but the goblin landed on top of a warrior ant, making Red aggro the ant

"Ah shit" *Takes out the ax*

And the ant used its hive mind skill to call for allies

"Aw shit!" *Takes out the shield*

And now he was pretty much way too outnumbered by armored enemies

"Kic- No wait, their armor might reflect my kick and even stun me, then! Shield breaker!" *Swings down his ax*

[Weak spot bonus] [Critical] [Effective strike bonus] [Effective weapon bonus]

He managed to kill one of the ants, by dumb luck, the swiftly looted whatever it dropped and then he found himself in a pinch due to the slow attack recovery that his current ax gave him

And he dodged and blocked with his shield the attack of the ants, as he tried to come with a breakthrough, but when he saw more warrior ants coming

"You all leave me no choice then... EXPROOOOOOOSION!!!"

And he used his strongest explosion magic attack right in front of him, killing the ants with an HK and sending him flying towards a tree

"GUH!" *Falls face flat on the ground with 1 HP* "*Deeply inhales* That was rad..."

He got up and collected all the dropped loot near him when he finished doing so, he made a cool pose and said

"Heh! Nothing can kill me in this ga-"

Then he was hit by a random running boar as he was getting overly cocky, removing his last point of health

*Respawns at the city center* "... ... ... That son of a boar... Oh!"

He received and noticed that he had a new email from the devs
