The Guild Master Droped a bag of 30 Thousand Gerzan on the table as a reward to variys for Clearing up the dungeon , the whole team seemed content about the result of their hard work ,

With Celestine jumping from excitement as other guild members showed their interest in their little party

'' here they go again , that variys guy sure had managed to clear a lot of quests lately ''

'' what else do you expect from the man who took down Valerya , he is one a whole other level ''

'' let's just be happy that he is on our side , I would never want to get in this guy way , am I right Toro '' said one man turning to the hunter who tried to trick variys

Toro Didn't respond , he just looked down with a bag of coins in his hands which he shortly after passed it on to variys '' here you go variys san , I lost the bet ''

Variys took the money with a smile in his face .

'' thank you , toro , it's been fun gambling with you , let me know if you ever want to make another bet ''

Variys Sat with the girls after they claimed their money , as they were getting their food served by the Cat Girl Waitress .

"" variys sama , that makes our total 80 thousand right , we should be able to pay rent for the next 3 months with this much revenue '' cana stated

'' yeah , we don't have to worry about a place to stay any more , whoever we might need to do something about Cele , he appetite almost put us out of a roof last time she let loose to her stomach ''

as the Waitress purred his drink she stated '' they are probably doing some recon missions-nya , I heard from a previous drunk soldier that Dorestia are planning to take the east Side once again , The King isn't having any of that and placed a couple of troops in each town-nya , ''

'' Dorestia , they are the neighboring country am I right '' variys replied

'' have you been living under a rock or something uncle-nya , they are not just the country next door , there is a huge chance that we are going to war with them next if thing kept escalating ''

'' war you say . ''

'' yeah , apparently Dorestia Want to take back the three towns that they have lost in the previous revelation , and they are attacking a couple of eastern military base from time to time '' Naomi stated

'' well , lucky for us we are no way near no eastern base , so you guys have nothing to weary about-nya''

'' huh , who said I'm worried , I care less about a war between countries ''

'' so I guess that in case of a battle you won't be joining the fight ? '' the waitress asked

'' of course I won't , there are much important things for me to do , so are long they don't interfere with my Business , the won't be any troub… '' but before variys could even finish his sentence the guild door get bursted wide open , by what seemed to be Imperial Soldiers .

The whole guild suddenly hushed down as the Old Man with long grey hair tucked in the back , wearing a Shining Armor mixed with gold and silver strips , walked towards the middle of the guild , followed by 3 of his Men ,

'' speaking of trouble … '' the waitress mumbled under her nose . '' good evening sir , what can I get you . '' she said

'' well i was hoping if you could help me find someone , I heard that a demon by the name variys , makes his Quest Missions around here , I was wondering if you might know where he is . '' the old man respectably asked and the waitress silently turned towards variys table .

'' I see , thank you , young lady ''

'' well , do you want anything to drink-nya ''

'' I'm afraid that won't be necessary , we won't be taking long '' he replied as he walked towards variys table , who was facing the other way , yet still could hear the footsteps of the armor closing in on him from the back .

'' are you variys ? '' the old man asked , yet variys didn't turn , he just kept his eyes on the meal as Naomi , cana and Celestine focused on the Man with nerves of steel .

'' it depended , who's asking ''

'' I'm The Third Imperial Squadron Commander , Younar Rasutoōdā , I have Come here by the order of his majesty King Omen to ask if you could come with us , ''

'' come with you , to where exactly ''

'' You Have been requested for a Private briefing with the king himself , at The Palace '''

Suddenly the whole guild started Whispering , people wondering why did the king himself asked for a demon adventurer to come to his palace and for what private briefing .

Variys took a moment for himself silently then gave his reply

'' I'm sorry , I will have to refuse his majesty request , I have a lot of things to take care of , and your timing is inconvenient , ''

'' oi , you , you should address the commander to his face when talking to him . '' said one of the man as he seemed bothered by variys giving them so little attention , but Younar Immediately raised his hand silencing the Imperial Soldier .

'' I'm afraid that this matter is urgent , I can't say much about it aside for it being heavily crucial to this country , and it being an imperial matter , I would have to ask you to re-consider your answer , ''

Just as Younar said that one of the drunk soldiers spits on the ground in disrespect mumbling

'' imperial my ass … ''

One of his comrades immediately shushed him asked him to be quiet .

'' what was that you said sir . '' Younar calmly addressed the drunk soldier

'' hey , calm down , you had to many drinks and we don't want no trouble with imperials ''

'' huh , does it look like I care about some flashy armor cowards , yeah I said it , Imperials are bunch of bullshit , this whole country is built on a fake system , we risk our necks on the line and get killed , why they get to walk around in golden armor taking the credit , '' the drunk man expressed in furry .

'' Bastard !! '' said one of the imperials as he was about to fight him , but stopped by Younar without saying a word .

'' it seems that soldiers really hate imperials '' variys said

'' it's because the Imperial Squadron Rarely gets deployed on the battlefield , yet they hold so much power and authority over the soldiers who constantly risk their life , '' Naomi replied

'' I can make of it that you soldiers had a bit much of drinks , considering your service on the battlefield , I will take a blind eye of what you said as long as you sit back in your place and be quiet '' Younar said , wishing to calm the soldier down . but somehow that made him even more furies .

'' this isn't the battlefield old man , I might stick my neck out there for you thanks to your higher rank , but in her , you are nothing but an old man in a fancy armor , so I suggest you stop talking all that big talk about the country and get your asses back to whichever safe place you usually stay in like you always do . ''

'' so what you're saying , is that you soldiers are far much stronger and better than the imperial knight , am I right ? ''

'' that's exactly what I am saying , '' the man replied in rage

'' then how about we put that to the test ''

'' each of us will have one Sword strike , while the other try and do his best to block it , whoever faint or … die for such matter , loses , what do you say , care to show us the bravery and strength of the army , if not then I suggest you walk back to your seat and shut your mouth ''

'' very well then , you can start '' Younar said while giving the signal to his men to step back , at the same time the man sheathe his sword and got ready to strike down , but Younar didn't react , he just stood there waiting for the hit confusing the soldier .

'' this won't be necessary .''

'' you will seriously get hurt !! ''

'' then you won't have anything to worry about , defeating an imperial commander will prove to this country once and for all that soldiers are much more talented than imperial knights ''

The soldier sighs in anger and heaves his sword high ready to strike down the commander all while shouting '' Don't Blame Me if You Get Hurt ''

With a Powerful Swing from the Top The Man thwacked down the Commander , going after his Neck from the left side as Hard as he could , putting everything in his Power , only for the attack to be stopped by Younar who managed to put an end to such powerful swing using only his Right Hand Finger , Protecting his neck with so less effort . Leaving everyone in shock from the scene that accrued .

'' is this the power that you have been preaching about , even my son could lay down a stronger blow '' Younar said in displease

'' Bastard , what kind of Magic did you use '' the soldier said as he didn't let go of his sword and tried to push it even harder

'' there is no magic to it , it's just a matter of strength , I'm a hundred , no a thousand time much stronger than you , and no matter how hard you try , with this level , you can never cut me down '' said Younar Right Before tightening his grip on the soldier sword even harder .

And just seconds after , Younar with a single Hand Grip Shattered the Soldier Sword , leaving him in shock unable to comprehend the scale of his adversary's power , little did he know , he was about to have a small taste of it , as Younar Eyes Glowed white and Aura started leaving his Body ,

'' Now , It's My Turn '' Younar Said as he tightened his Fist and Collected the Aura from his body , directing it towards one single punch , which he immediately laid upon the soldier face , Upper Cutting hi so hard , the soldier felt his Jaw was about to break , causing him to fly crashing against his table , and going even further to smash his back against the Wall , Spilling all the foods and drinks on his way and getting knocked out unconscious instantly .

The Whole Guild Stood shocked from the power of the Imperial Punch , including the girls ,

The two other soldiers went to check on their find , to make sure at least he was still alive

'' oi , are you ok , hang in there !! ''

'' you two '' Younar said addressing the soldiers , they looked back at him frightened

'' when your friend wakes up , tell him that what happened was not a dream , and that he should now have at least somewhat of an idea of what an imperial knight power look like , and he will pay for the damage that happened , consider this as a lesson ''

'' yes sir '' the two soldiers said as they saluted him , and taking their friend out for a medical treatment , which seemed that he would need it after taking that kind of a hit .

As they got out , Younar turns his attention to variys

'' now then , Variys San , Where Were we . ''

'' you were telling me about how great this country is , and how much of an urgent matter it is for me to go to the palace to meet the king , in which I said no to that in case you forgot '' Variys said side-eying Younar , still sitting at his table , unbothered by The Commander Show of Power .

'' I haven't , however I'm afraid that I can't take no for an answer … '' Younar said

Soon after Variys Stood up and faced Younar .

'' so where does that leave us , will you use force to pressure me … '' variys stated

Younar didn't reply , the two of them exchanged stares facing each other , while everyone else in that guild felt the tension rising , The Top Adventurer Versus The Commander of The Imperial Knight , if a battle was to accrue , this place will be brought down on its roof .

Suddenly Younar Reached For The Right Side of waist , everyone took a step back , aside from variys who didn't react at all , is he about to reach for his Hilt , that was what everyone had in mind , yet Younar wasn't wishing for such trouble , what he was reaching for was a Bag that was tucked in the back of his armor . and he threw it instantly towards Variys .

Variys grabbed it as it feel right in his palms , making a Clink sound , and he immediacy knew what was in it . but didn't open it .

'' huh , this is ?? ''

'' 15 Thousand Gerzan , just a small Upfront Payment , you shall have another similar ransom after you finish your briefing with the king ''

'' thirty thousand Gerzan , just for a chat in the royal capital . it doesn't seem like a bad deal '' Naomi whispered

Variys weighted the bag for a moment then a smirk drawn on his face .

Five Days Later , At The Royal Palace , Located In The Capital , A Young Girl had Just Woken Up From Her Sleep , she Gently Washed Her Soft Skin , and Gently Brushed Her Beautiful Silver Silked Hair , She Kneeled faced to the open window , looking up the Clear Sky , placed her hands together , then started silently Praying , soon after a quiet moment of peace , a maid enters the room after knocking .

'' who is she '' Cana Whispered in curiosity

'' I don't know , but there is something about her . '' Variys said , Sensing an odd Aura surrounding her .

The girl reached next to variys and kneeled for the king , after a brief moment she stood up once again , still haven't turned to face variys who was staring at her this whole time .

'' My King '' She Uttered in a calm Angelic Voice

'' Lord Variys , Please meet Arestia , a Priestesses From The OXF Temple . she is the reason why you are here . ''

'' a Priestesses you say . ''

'' correct , we called you hear to ask for your service , we want you to Take Here To Oseriyra For an Urgent Matter ''

'' That's right , and for your trouble , this sword can be your companion in this journey , next to the ransom of course , this to show that we are trusting you with an important quest '' The Advisor Stated

Variys took a moment for himself thinking about the matter , then stared back at the priestess , who till this time she was still looking down , everyone in that room was waiting for variys's respond . which he shortly after gave away .
