Helping With Pace

I know that a lot of new writers struggle with the pace of their writing, and some of my favorite works that have come out on Webnovel have had major problems with picking up the pace too fast.

If you need good examples of what to look at for changing the pace of your novel look at the project by FictionOnlyReader called "Rebirth in KurokoNoBasket." He knows what to do with pace by interspersing in this multiple slice of life moments that slow the reader down and help them connect with the character.

If you need other help because you think a slice of life moment will not apply to your story, look at the Pokemon animation or the Avatar: The last airbender series for examples. They introduce the concept of sidequests to slow the story down and keep your attention with the shenanigans that they pull. They are a great source of information.

Lastly, if you need help with fights and their pace, a great example to use is "Pokemon master of tactics" by alex02373 or "One Piece talent system" by Ye Nan Tin Feng (found on Webnovel under Franxiscus_Siregar). They both use their heads to great effect to pace their fights very well and can help create ideas for multiple chapter fights.
