"I was wondering what the they had found," he said conversationally, "what brings you two to the nether?"
Sonnis and Rissa glanced at each other.
"Vacation," Rissa said with a sarcastic drawl.
"Odd place to vacation," the boy replied.
Rissa rolled her eyes. "Well it was nice to meet you and your whatever-these-are, but best be off."
"They're my brother Xeo's, called Wither skeletons," he said lightly. "You both looked quite lost, allow me to offer you some shelter for a day or two." He reached back and rubbed his neck, "not that there's days or nights here."
Sonnis shrugged, "is your home nearby?"
"Yes, follow me."
He began to walk off.
"I don't like him," Rissa muttered. "Something seems a bit odd."
"Everything is odd here," Sonnis answered, "besides you need to heal more, and we both need rest."
Rissa grumbled but agreed to go.
"My brother might be home at some point, or my sister."
"Big family you have." Sonnis said, she was admittedly extremely curious to discover more gods and goddess's. "Who are your parents."
Neron shrugged, "I never really knew my parents, they abandon me when I was a baby. I was taken in though by my new father, he is kind to me."
Sonnis was even more curious now, but unfortunately they had reached his home. It was a huge building made of red blocks.
"Wow, did you make this yourself," Rissa asked.
"No, it's my brothers place," he said, "its also where they all live," he pointed to the skeletons. They had fanned out and seemed to be relaxing more. Sonnis heard a strange wheezing noise.
"What is that?"
"My sister's pets, I wouldn't get to close though, blazes are kind of nasty." Neron said lightly. "Please make yourself at home of course. There is many many rooms to chose from."
"Is your brother here too?"
"No, he is out on some expedition," Neron said, "also don't place down a bed item here."
"What will happen?" Rissa asked eagerly.
"It will explode," Neron said shrugging slightly.
"Cool," Rissa said.
"What are you?"
"What do you mean?" Rissa replied hotly.
"Your a goddess," he said.
"Yeah I am," Rissa crossed her arms, looking slightly offended. She fixed him with a death glare, "What did you think I was, a wolf, or one of your creepy friends?"
Neron blushed, with a hand raised he said, "you nearly light me on fire," he laughed, "no I meant what type of goddess?"
"Goddess of flowers obviously." Rissa said.
"Goddess of chaos," Sonnis replied, "I'm goddess of magic."
Neron smiled slightly, "I don't quite know what I am yet, unfortunately."
Sonnis nodded.
"Allow me to show you where you can both sleep."
"We have to share?" Rissa asked sounding incredulous.
"Not at all, unless you want to, I was under the impression you two were friends." He was even redder now.
"Cousins actually," Sonnis replied.
"Who is your mom and dad." He asked conversationally.
"Dauntice and Farren," Sonnis answered automatically.
Neron nodded, "heard a bit about them. Must be weird though with all that water." He shuddered.
Something about him made Sonnis's heart flutter slightly.
"Here we are, two separate rooms for two girls who apparently are not friends."
Rissa sulked slightly, "I never said I didn't like her."
Sonnis thanked him and settled into the plain room. Somewhere deep within she felt an emotion stir, something unfamiliar.
She had perhaps fallen a little bit in love.
