I stepped outside of the large house and entered the nice looking yard. There were nicely trimmed bushes and shrubs, but other than that it wasn't too extravagant. 'My father is a noble but I'd say we barely qualify for that.'
'I'm out here to try out the ways to find my affinities.' Remembering the book, I went through the list of things to try.
One of the methods would be to simply say the magic word of the element you think of with your palm out. And if that didn't work, using a leaf to see the effects of your affinity on it is the next best option.
I stood on the grass and held out my palm facing upward. "First, fire. Infernus." a large ball of fire that had the diameter of watermelon appeared within my hand.
"It seems it worked. Next, Aquarius." Water congealed together out of the air and formed a large watery ball the same size. I went through each element and... it seems that I was able to use every element except summoning since I didn't understand how it worked.
'Did the Goddess bless me or something?? I didn't understand if this was the norm. Could everyone use all the types of magic? Should I tell my parents?' All these useless questions came to my head. Well it's time to head back inside.
I went back inside for breakfast and was met with my parents and my older sister.
"Good morning Brandon. I heard from Sam you went to play outside." my sister said. I recall her name is Sasha.
"Good morning sis." I remember she is a nice and caring older sister. She is 9 and has curly blonde hair and blue eyes. And I recall that my older brother is out at the magic school since he is 11. 'I'll hold off on telling my family about magic.
"So today we are going to celebrate your birthday Brandon by inviting over some nobles of Dad's friends and partners he works with." My Dad said. We talked about my birthday preparation's while eating breakfast and obviously I didn't have to prepare anything. I was only 3 years old and it's my birthday!
