Interrogation part 1

Adam squinted at the glaring light shining in his eyes. He was sitting on an uncomfortable bench with his arms and legs tied to it with chains. He could barely make out the figure that was in the room with him. He was glad too, he didn't want to look at the slave's visage and he was sure the hood had been taken off of it.

"You two are the primary suspects of the bombing of an officer's quarters, with equipment that would have likely resulted in the death of the officer and the destruction of a visage of the Goddess. What do you have to say in your defence?" A tired voice asked. Adam knew it was probably procedure to begin an interrogation with the accusation and pleas of innocence, so he went along with it.

"I have nothing to do with the bombing. The slave isn't mine. The fact that the bomb was placed in my storage facility is mere coincidence."
