The Trader`s Guild

Coach and Zhao Yun arrived in front of a rather large building, a huge nameplate is hanging above the doors, it says "Trader`s Guild" on it.

"We`re here Zhao," Coach announced. "I`ll bring the package inside and wait for you, in the meantime, can you find a suitable place to park the cart? You can find me at the monster materials section," he added.

"Okay Coach," Zhao Yun agreed.

Coach lifted the package and went inside the huge building while Zhao Yun went around the building to look for available parking spaces. Luckily there was a parking lot nearby, he parked it there and left. But before he got far, someone called out to him, "Hey, you gotta pay for the parking space you know, there`s only one rule here, no pay no park."

"Oh is that so? how much will it be?" Zhao Yun turned around and asked.

"It`s 8 coppers," a man with a stick on his left-hand approach and said. From the way he walked, his left leg seems to be injured.

Zhao Yun was about to use his dimension bag but remembered what Coach told about not using his dimensional bag so he placed his hands inside his clothes since he has no pockets and acted as if he was getting money from it but instead he used it as a cover for him to get his money from the bag and gave the money to the man, "Here you go."

"Thanks, you may now leave. Don`t worry about your cart, I`m guarding this place," the man said.

"Okay," Zhao Yun replied and went inside the trader`s guild.

Inside the trader`s guild was a huge amount of people. In the middle was an open space that acts as a lobby for people who want to buy or sell. The trader`s guild consists of four sections, the three sections are located on the first floor while the fourth one is on the upper floor. The selling occurs on the first floor while the buying happens on the upper floor. The items section is on the left side of the building, which is where you can sell items such as a weapon, armors, accessories, or any type of treasures you want to sell. The next section is the cultivation section located directly in front of the entrance, where pills and talismans are being sold off, you can also sell cultivation methods and pill recipes but no one would obviously want to sell something so precious and important. The third section is the monster materials section on the right side of the building where you can sell monster materials. Zhao Yun easily saw Coach on the monster materials section. He approached Coach and they proceeded to sell the materials they have.

"Let`s go Coach," Zhao Yun suggested.

"No Zhao Yun, we need to wait for them to call our number before we approach the clerk. Don`t worry I already got our number, it`s 69." Coach informed Zhao Yun.

"So that`s why there`s plenty of people around the clerks, they`re waiting for their numbers to be called," Zhao Yun realized.

Zhao Yun scanned the people around them, he was shocked to see the cultivation levels of the people inside the building are ranging from 7th stage-9th stage Body refinement cultivation. One thing he also noticed since entering the building the absence of guards.

"Coach, this is probably a newbie question but why are there no guards here at all? Usually, these kinds of places tend to get rowdy with a bunch of cultivators meeting each other." Zhao Yun inquired

"Unless they are like you who came from somewhere far, no one would dare to mess at the Trader`s Guild. There are two reasons why, first would be because they are scared to be blacklisted since the guild basically owns the market and has branches all over the province, sometimes the guild can even put a price on your head and other cultivators would come looking for you. The second one is simple, the clerks are stronger than us. We can`t sense chi since Body-Refinement cultivators don`t have chi yet, but the guild clerk`s cultivation levels are at least at the Mind-Amplification level meaning they all have chi. In a border town like this, no one would dare fight a Mind-Amplification cultivator," Coach educated Zhao Yun.

Zhao Yun didn`t manage to see the clerks' cultivation level since they were behind a counter, but this time he tried looking for a place he can spot them and he was shocked to learn that two of the clerks were already at the 3rd stage of Mind-Amplification and the other is at the 2nd stage of Mind-Amplification.

After waiting for some time, they were called. They managed to sell the materials for 2 silver. Coach was quite happy but Zhao Yun wasn`t, for Coach it was a large amount of money since this is the first time they sold a 3star-beast class but for Zhao Yun, he felt that the money earned doesn`t justify the time spent, since he himself can earn ar least 2 silvers just by eating mushrooms. Zhao Yun then remembered the horned boars and horned rabbits he has on his bag.

"Hey coach, can we sell horned boars and horned rabbit materials here?" Zhao Yun asked

"Of course, why do you ask?" Coach replied

"You remembered that I went inside the forest near this town right?" Zhao Yun query

"Ah, yes, you really worried me back there, then you returned with the Guan Yu guy and argued," Coach narrated.

"Yeah sorry about that last part again," Zhao Yun scratched his head, "but that`s not what I want to say, What I`m telling is, I have tons of horned rabbits and horned boars inside my bag, and when I say tons, it`s a lot," Zhao Yun continued.

"Hmmm, if it`s in your bag, we can`t sell it right now. There`s plenty of people here, we can`t risk ourselves just because of money," Coach voiced out.

"Since it`s already dark outside, we should look for an inn and stay for the night, let`s go back to the village after selling my materials," Zhao Yun proposed.

"So you plan to return to our village? I`m happy to hear that Zhao," Coach smiled.

The two left the building, took their cart, and looked for a cheap inn with a parking space for their cart. They managed to book a room for 1 night for 5 coppers which made Coach tear up a little but Zhao Yun was the one who paid for it since he was the one who proposed the idea. The room they booked has two beds on it and a free dinner and breakfast. Coach wanted to try new food so he went down to eat his free meal while Zhao Yun opened his dimension bag and took out a rucksack full of mushrooms and started feasting on the mushrooms.

Zhao Yun easily finished the sack of mushrooms, but this time he wasn`t satisfied yet so he took yet another rucksack of mushrooms and another feasting starts.

Zhao Yun managed to finish the second rucksack before Coach even returned, this time around he was full. He was looking at his stats when Coach returned and had a chat with him. Coach rested for a while before hitting the sack. While Zhao Yun continued thinking on how to proceed with his stats.
