Chapter 3

I walked towards the cafeteria and I saw a bunch of students were staring at me, even the teachers were doing the same thing. I walked towards the back door and sat down on the tree, while I was doing my homework.

"Hi are you new here? I'm Rosy nice to meet you." Rosy said

I looked up from my homework and I saw a pretty girl looking at me.

"Oh um Hi, nice to meet you Rosy. You need to leave me alone please, I'm not suppose to talk to anyone or be friends either. And my name is Lumina." Lumina said

"Well it's a free country, and I love your name Lumina. It's so beautiful." Rosy said

"Nice to meet you Rosy, goodbye." Lumina said

I got up and walked away from Rosy and back into the cafeteria and towards my locker. I was putting my books away when I felt someone was watching me now, oh great now what.

I looked around and I saw no one at all. I got out my other books and finished school already. I walked outside and I saw dad was waiting for me now. Great, I know I'm going to get a beat down again.

"How was school? Did you make any friends?" Dad said

"School was good and no friends at all." Lumina said

"Good! Get in." Dad said

I got in the car and we took off towards home. I got out of the car and walked inside and dad was right behind me, and he closed the door behind him.

Dad grabbed my hair and pulled me back towards him and he was kicking and punching me, from left to right. And it was hurting so much. I saw dad walked towards the fridge and he got a beer and sat down on the couch.

I got up off the floor and walked towards my room, but then I heard dad calling me back again. I hope I'm not getting more beatings some more.

"Yes sir!" Lumina said

"Go to the store and get me some food, and make it snappy." Dad said

"Yes sir!" Lumina said

I walked out of the trailer and headed towards the store in so much pain, it hurt to walk now. I hope dad didn't break any of my bones again.
