This was why he needed someone who knew the Capital City's streets and shortcuts to help him. 

When Prince Yi found out his runner's identity, he was delighted! But once Yu Feng found out the identity of the man she was working for, she tried to escape.

The Story of Yu Feng

The Empress finally snapped out of her trance to look at the Prince.

"Previously, the Emperor was still worried about your marriage and had asked my opinion to help introduce you to a few girls. Who would have thought that the moment you returned from the northern border, you would bring along a girl you wanted to marry." The Empress let out a soft sigh. "I thought that I would have the chance to get to know your wife well before she was married to you. I did not expect that the Emperor and you would protect her identity well."

A slight frown appeared on his face as Qin Zhi Hao heard the Empress's words. "Empress Mother."

The Empress ignored the Prince and shifted her gaze to Yu Feng and smiled. "Child, quickly tell me about yourself. Everyone here is curious about how the two of you met."

"Your Majesty," Yu Feng curtsied. "This subject's name is Yu Feng. Daughter of Yu Chen and Yan Ying."
