The Story of Yu Feng

When they arrived at Consort Xian's palace, the Emperor has already arrived.

Qin Zhi Hao saw the look on his mother's face and knew that the Emperor had come over uninvited again. Each time that Consort Xian made something delicious for him, the Emperor would suddenly show up, which would make her grew frustrated.

Consort Xian was planning to spend more time with her son and daughter-in-law, but there was someone else who came uninvited. However, since this person is the Emperor, there was no way for Consort Xian to drive him away. In the end, she could only ask the servants to prepare another set of cutleries for the Emperor.

The newlywed greeted the Emperor and Consort Xian before they took a seat.

"The Empress did not give you a hard time, did she?" The Emperor asked. He was looking at Yu Feng with a worried gaze.

"Answering to His Majesty, the Empress did not say anything much other than asking about my family background," Yu Feng answered.
