Alcemy Master Arrives!

"Why are you standing there like a fool and watching me?" I shouted with a roar. "Where is the Association Master? Why hasn't he come and greet me yet?"

"Sorry, for the discourtesy, Sir Alchemist, can you please bestow us your name?" A man with great aura came down from the same stairs. He looked like a teen adult with pointy ears. His skin was little green and a little brown, but pink at the same time.

"A wood elf. No wonder you are the master of the Association!" I said with the same arrogance. In the alchemy memories I acquired, there was information about Wood Elves because of their cores. It was a valuable alchemy ingredient. That is also was the reason for their success in alchemy. "What color is your fire? Are you worthy to hear my name?"

He brought his palm up and lit a fire. Crimson and orange were dancing in flame, and there was a wisp of green inside.

"Almost green. Not bad." I praised frivolously. "I am Altair, Rank III Alchemy Master. I descent on this world because I am on a quest you cannot even imagine. For the time being, I will stay in the city, and I need an ingredient from this cheap place."

"What are your orders, Master Altair. It will be our honor to fulfill your needs." Association Master said. Of course, no one questioned the credibility of my fire or my words. Even if in small chance, I was a real deal and an alchemist from the outer space, it would be their doom if they were to question me.

"I need a stardust. Large quantity with good quality. At least K Rank." I said without looking at Association Master because I could imagine their faces at the moment. Stardust is extremely valuable, could only be found in some secret realms. It is the main catalyzer in many formulas because of its properties. Stardust contains Chaos Element, thus fits in most of the formulas. It also contains explosive energy that speeds up the concoction time.

There are seven ranks of stardust coming from seven ranks of stars. K rank star is second lowest, still too rare and too expensive.

"No need to look at me like that. I will make it worthwhile for you." I said with a chuckle. "I will prepare a large quantity of Impurity Cleansing Bath Water, and I will lend them to your Association to sell."

"What? What is Impurity Cleansing Bath Water?"

"It must be something awesome since it is coming from Rank III Alchemy Master."

"Yes, but I think I heard it before."

People inside the guild discussed hysterically.

"Association will close for rest of the day. Please leave now and come again later." While the folk was discussing, Wood Elf Master took quick action.

I chuckled and wait for people to leave. After everybody left, Association Master and I were the only two souls in the room.

"Master Altair. Forgive my bluntness, but can you really make Impurity Cleansing Bath Water?" He asked with suspicion.

"Whom do you think you are talking? Just because you people can't concoct 'Body Tempering Potion,' it doesn't mean I can't do the same." I, on purpose, mock the name they were using for the bathwater. When the concoction first found, there was also its name written on a tag with its uses. But selling a miracle potion under the name of bathwater is like a slap on the face for the alchemists of this world.

I also said the original name of the potion to convince Association Master that I am really coming from outer space. Without character such as this, even if I could persuade them, I couldn't get what I want.

"I have 3.5 milligrams of K rank stardust. I wonder if it would satisfy Master Altair?"

"I can make it work. Bring it to me first. I will return to my abode and see what I can do." I said and asked, "What is your name, lad? You are not bad."

"Thank you for your praise, sir. Yours truly is known as Filverel."

"Good, Filverel. You will be my hand in the city from now on. I will sell all my potions through your association. But I have a rule. You have to auction all the items. If you want for yourself, you have to buy them in the auction." I said, patting his shoulder. "In return, I will give you some tips on alchemy."

"As you wish, master." He got ecstatic as soon as he heard my promise. For a person at the edge of the breakthrough for so long, the smallest tip is enough to take the last step.

"Also, get me top-quality alchemy set. I couldn't bring mine when I was descending." I lastly asked. The quality of the alchemy set was self-explaining. It had a direct effect on the success rate and end product.

"I will bring my best set for you, Master Altair. Wait, please." He said and vanished from the stairs. After a short minute, he returned with a giant box bigger than three of him.

I held the box in my hand, and the box vanished. It wasn't that surprising for a man at Filverel's standing. He has seen his share of spatial items.

After dealing with everything, I left the association and walked into the city. After finding an alley to change my face, I left with my original face and my Id as Connor. Choosing a random secret tunnel, I followed it back to home. I was excited and sullen. "My girls are going to leave me. But at least they will be safe." I never trusted Starisk, especially when he is so generous. So, finding a safe haven for my girls is putting my mind at ease."
