Information Trove II

"I welcome every one of you, graced me on the day of the opening!" I said and opened the door to the newly built cylindric building with 33 floors.

At the entrance, there were hundreds of hostesses and hosts waiting. They welcomed the people and showed and escorted them to the floor they had to go. They were all trained in the last month and could evaluate the information, and rank it up according to codes of the Information Trove.

"Hello, sir. I am Red #1. I will be your guide when you are in Information Trove. Please let me lead you to an isolated room so you can tell me what kind of information you would like to exchange. Then I can escort you to the floor accordingly."

"Welcome, ma'am. I am Black #23. I will be your guide when you are in Information Trove. Please let me lead you to an isolated room so you can tell me what kind of information you would like to exchange. Then I can escort you to the floor accordingly." There were hundreds of trained guides running around, still, people at the door were lining up.

After opening the doors, I went down to my secret floor underground and waited for information to flow. The first day of the business, most that came only gave in information and received a special card with IT Stars inside. The card was simple, to be honest. They were made by a master blacksmith in batch and were able to keep IT Stars. There were many people using a similar system, so it wasn't hard to create one of my own.

It was also possible to trade stars between cards without coming to Information Trove. There was even an alarm system applied to the card with my insistence. If a person's card to be taken away, the card owner could will it to explode remotely by placed mana. Because each card was special to the user, and there were no nameless cards, when the card was lost, the card owner could come to Information Trove and get another one by paying a fine.

Of course, I made it the user-only cards to track the people I wanted to keep an eye on. After all, despite their animus to Inhuman races and Inhuman race supporters, Religious people were one of the most tenacious people who wanted to acquire the formula I placed on the 15th floor.

Those who wanted information were a minority, but it was my secondary plan. It was a plan I was hoping to move into action, but I couldn't because of the World Law.

'World Laws Article #47: Only organization in need can create a fighting force. The organization needs to report a solid reason to the city council which will report to the World Council. If both councils approve, a task force can be created.'

This law was keeping my hands tied. But it was also the only reason why the churches were unable to do anything to Inhumans. Now that I had the Information Trove, I could require a task force to dive into dangers and seek knowledge our customers had paid for.

"I will wait for a week, then I will require it. Even people in the city council are trying to fawn on me. So, I am sure there will be no problems."

There were a couple of task forces in the city. Mostly police force, guards, and some private. If I could have one, I could place them all around the city, then all around the world to take it over it in one go. Of course, it wasn't that easy. It would take me at least 5 years to bring up a force that strong.

After the first day over, I went to the safe on the second floor. There were many traps and locks placed all around the floor. I spent most of my money on this floor. In the month building was on construction, Alchemist Association held another two auction earned me similar gold, if not more, yet I almost spend all of them for this floor.

I looked at the Eternal Shade I placed on the story ground. It was covering all of the floors, which consumed my Mana more than 100 times. Now I could use my techniques without any problem across to the second floor.

I walked into the floor by passing the giant door can hold attacks from Level 40 beings. There were many pieces of paper or manually placed on 33 rooms. I started in the first room and looked at every information. Thanks to my improved memory, I could remember anything placed in here, and boy, aren't they traded lots of things.

I smiled madly and kept on reading. There were secrets that can bring down people or secrets to opening treasures. I couldn't 'disclose' them, but I could use them to 'negotiate.'

When I reached the third floor, skill books started to appear. Skill books were reusable but could not be copied. There were universal charm and insights imprinted on them, and no one knew how they came to be. So, giving away one meant giving up on the skill. That is why their value was higher than the others. So far no one traded any skill book for Warrior level, 11 level and above.

I read all the skill books, and analyzed them to figure out a pattern, but failed miserably.

"It is just the first day. I will figure them out, and create more skills and skill books." I silently have sworn and left the room. It took me more than 12 hours to read everything, and more were coming without stop. Information Trove was working around the clock, thus customers never end.
