After few weeks of preparation, I was ready to board the flight and take my first step towards my dream.
"Shweta be fast. People have started to board their flight." my mom said to me.
"Mom just relax. Everything will be fine." I said to her to calm her down a little bit.
"Yes darling. Its not like we are boarding flight for the first time." papa (father) said to mom.
I suddenly felt like dizziness. But some how I again regained my consciousness. I was about to fall but controlled myself.
"Shweta are you okay?" my mother asked me in a worried tone.
"Yes mom! I am absolutely fine. What will happen to me." I said to her smilingly.
"Listen mom announcement is being done. Let's go or else our seat will be taken." I said to her in a teasing way. To which she hit my head lightly.
"Enough of your non sense. Lets go." mom said to me
I relaxed as I succeeded in diverting the topic. Then I didn't pay too much attention to it. I thought that it might be that I didn't eat anything, as I have motion sickness (little bit). So to avoid food coming out of my mouth during fly time, I usually avoid eating anything before flying.
"Can't you both mother~daughter keep some chit chats for flight?" father said to me and mom. Mom glared back to him making him gulp his saliva in fear that he is going to eat chapati and okra curry even during their stay in hotel.
We boarded the flight to Delhi. Mom and dad sat together while I was sitting behind them. A middle aged women, probably married and had child as I guessed using my medical guts, she sat beside me.
For some time I listened to my song playlist. Soon I got bored with it. I didn't take my books in my handbag, as I was literally kind of bored seeing them each day and night, while sleeping and waking. So I packed them in my trolley.
Then I turned towards that lady and said, "Hello! ma'am."
She said, "Hello! child! How are you?". She spoke to me with a beautiful smile on her face. I have to accept that even though she was kind of a middle aged women, her smile could make anyone's day beautiful.
"I am doing great ma'am. If you don't mind can I ask for your name!" I said to her politely.
She chuckled. I was confused on her reaction. She noticed my confused face and said, "don't be so polite to everyone child. And myself Kusum."
"Now you know my name. Tell me what's your name child?", she asked me with that same smile.
"Shweta Singh", I told her giving her a smile.
"What a beautiful name. But wait I have seen you somewhere but I can't remember it clearly." she said while trying to remember where she could have seen me.
"I don't think so aunt that we have met before." I said to her snaping out of her thoughts.
"Maybe you are right."
We chatted during the whole flight. She told me about her son, her daughter and more about her family. I kinda enjoyed listening to her. I felt warmth with her.
We arrived at the Delhi airport and we took bidding.
"Looks like you enjoyed your flight." mom said to me.
"Yup!" I exclaimed
"Let's go... Cab is here." my father said to me. After some time we reached our hotel. We went to our respective rooms to fresh up. Then...
