CHAPTER FOUR

It was a silent night upon the city the rule for all mundanes had come into effect, it was time for the paranormals to come out and live their nightly lives. Àine the fairy was out and on her way to see her best friends, she hated to wait until night time to come out but that never stopped her though. She's broken the law a few times, but it was worth it to see her friends, Àine flew into an alley and began her usual routine. "Where is she? She was supposed to been here by now." Tori said anxiously as she paced back and forth, she has always been cautious of her friend for the simple fact she was a paranormal and there were "haunters" out. "She'll be here Tori, Àine is the most careful fairy I know trust me she's probably taking extra precaution as usual." Junior was certain that their little fairy friend was safe, he also knew that there was haunters who broke the law. Fairies have special dust on their wings to make them fly, some mundanes pay haunters to kill them for their flying dust. It was wrong and illegal, Junior has dealt with those cases and never showed remorse, when kicking their asses. There was three knocks on the door. "She's here!!!" Tori squealed, as she open the door using her telekinesis. "Cheers lads, c' mere and give me a barròg." Aine said as she walked in, instead of being small fairy Àine was now five foot six, curly red hair that stopped at her shoulders, a green dress that stopped at her ankles with green flats. She looked like a human sized fairy. "Why didn't you change your clothes?" Tori asked, though she wasn't anxious anymore, it was just a common question after giving Junior a hug Àine replied. " In a rush lass, ya just don't know tiresome sitting in ya house all day can be, plus the clothes ya bought me had to get washed ya know." Tori was just glad her friend was here. " So what ya lads been up to?" Àine said dropping down on their office couch, she was always interested in hearing  about their cases, she wanted to be a paranormal detective like Junior and Tori "Aw the usual banishing ghosts, beating up rouge haunters, blah blah." Replied Junior. "Well, blah blah doesn't make ya use ya psychic pressure like you did, now does it lad?" Àine asked, looking at the siblings with curiosity in her eyes. "We killed a witch!" Tori blurted out and Àine eyes widened. "Cailleach!!!" She squeaked loudly. "Tori." Junior said as he sighed and sat down. "Now that you know you must not say a word if word gets out, a panick will quickly rise upon the mundanes and paranormals." Junior was right, witches were ruthless to anyone even themselves, fairies are basically hunted among the mundanes and paranormals. Àine was feeling scared, but to hear that her friends killed a witch, made that feeling go way. "Ya have my word, just keep me informed just in case things get shady." Àine said cheerfully, but the siblings heard the seriousness in her voice, fairies might be top prey but that doesn't mean they'll roll over and die easily. Fairies are very smart, cunning and tactical it would take two haunters or more to take down one. "Well enough of that I'm finna get lost on cloud nine and play the game." Junior said. "Well I got a painting to finish. Are you coming Àine? Tori asked. "Always and I'll be back for my rematch. Àine told Junior.
