POWERRRRRR

"When I just did a scan of you, I did a full-body exam. From the results, I noticed that you had an inefficient superhuman serum, a knockoff of the one the captain has. It used to give you high levels of strength, power, endurance, intelligence, and toxin and disease immunity.

But, after I healed you, it seems there was a change to your whole genetic makeup."

"What? What happened to me? What did you do??" Panic and anger seeped into her, making her pounce towards me before I restricted her in a weak chokehold.

"Calm down and let me finish what I'm saying. It's nothing bad. Trust me.

Now, as I was saying.

You used to have these "gifts" that the Red Room gave you.

But after I healed you and gave you my blood, your body seems to have mutated. According to my calculations, your immunity should be off the room. So poison or disease currently on earth can harm you. Your brain activity is showing signs of being more than ten times more active than even the Captain. I don't know about your strength yet, but your muscular structure seems to have changed. It looks like you can still become stronger. Your healing factor is off the room, almost 30 times more than a normal human.

And that's not all. It seems your body is still changing.

I should have suspected it the minute you barged into my house shouting like a lunatic.

I thought, why would a trained assassin, someone whom I know to be the calmest person in the world, scream and cry hysterically.

It seems your hormone levels are constantly in flux, slowly adapting your body to its new changes. The levels were further in flux because you got your period.

Also, there is a very high chance that you have a new organ growing near your wrists. It's either that, or you have cancer." I patiently explain slowly letting go of the chokehold on the assassin.

"Though I highly doubt you have cancer, considering the results of the test. So, most likely, there is a mutation that caused the growth of an organ that suspiciously looks like that of a toxic jellyfish."

"So, what you're saying is that my power is growing, and what the red room did to me further improved? And it's all because I got some of your blood in me?" She asks, slowly understanding and accepting all the facts.

"I don't know about the blood transfusion part, but yes, it's the only suitable explanation at the moment. And yeah, you are getting stronger, and more dangerous."

"Fuck. And here I was hoping that I would get to lead a normal life at least once." Sighing in defeat, she sat down on the floor, shoulders sagging and eyes dull.

"Well, I don't know what normal is to you. But, the way I see it. Life is as fun as you make it. We basically play the hands we are dealt with. We decide what we want to do with what we have.

If you want, I can try to make something that will suppress all the 'not normal' stuff in your body, but in my experience, suppressing something that I within our nature doesn't always turn out pretty. But we can always try. What do you say?" I say soothingly, trying to comfort the woman.

"..I don't know. On one hand, I want a normal life. A life away from all that is weird.

But then I remember all the stuff that I have seen and done, and I think, why should I deserve a normal life. I have so much red in my ledger. If I just leave it all behind, what would I be?" She whispered her emotions in a mess. Sometimes anger would flare up, just to be instantly replaced with mind-numbing sorrow, a whole spectrum of emotions fighting in her head.

"Well, as you said. You do have a lot of red in your ledger. But ultimately, the choice is yours.

I can offer you a chance at a normal life and take away all of these new and old powers, or I can help you remove all that red.

The choice is yours."

"Haha. I think I now know why you were named Lucifer.

Very well, I choose your help in wiping my ledger clean. Well, as clean as it can get. I have to ask you this favor.

Help me remove all that red." With determination finally coming back into her doubtful eyes, Nat sat up with vigor, her previous depressed aura vanishing, replaced by firm determination and power.

"Good choice. Now, let me help you stabilize your hormone levels and fully adapt your body. Otherwise, it will drive you crazy by the end of the month." Chuckling lightly, I stand up and reach out my hand for a shake, which she firmly grasps, showing her newfound determination.

.

"Alright, keep it up. Just two more minutes. Two more minutes. You can do it." I shout loudly from the side of a huge ring, Emily sitting on the side eating popcorn, enjoying a deadly spar going on down below.

"Hey, Lucifer. I don't think Nat's going to be able to handle two more minutes. She seems quite out of it." Emily comments in between mouthfuls of popcorn.

"Yeah. Your aunt's going too hard on her, but that's something that she needs right now. Otherwise, she can't push herself."

Currently, in the battle ring, a redhead assassin, and a white-haired clone which everyone knows as my 'sister', are currently battling it out.

Both wearing tight leather gear, no weapons, just a good old fashion fist fight.

It has been around a month since Natasha came to me with her problem, and I saw that she had new powers. Currently, her body has completely adapted to the situation, meaning her strength, immunity, and healing ability have increased exponentially once more.

Also, the new organ growing near her wrist turned out to be a battery of sorts. Through proper control, she was able to turn biochemical energy into electrical energy to create a stunning effect on anything she touched. Like an electric eel or a jellyfish.

Over the past month, we had been working tirelessly to get her to control her ability, as well as improving her body's lethality.

Previously, she was just the world's top assassin, but now, she was nearing the threshold of going past human and into the realm of superhumans.

But she was still fighting my clone, and it was not holding back at all.

Absorbing all the blows and counteracting each move, the white swordsman kept toying with Natasha.

Sweating and panting, with her fists throwing off sparks, Natasha charged at the opponent, throwing a palm strike to the chest, which instantly was nullified by twisting slightly, but she was not called one of the best assassins in the world for nothing.

Instantly predicting the opponent's moves, Nat had a kick charging towards the opponent's new position, smirking slightly at the thought of it connecting.

But her smirk froze slightly before she sent out her next move.

However, that slight pause was all that the opponent needed to launch a successful counterattack.

BOOM

With a leg sweep and a hammer punch, nat was pushed to the ground, gasping for her breath, as the wind was knocked out of her lungs.

"Just because you have new powers doesn't mean you should get cocky. Don't forget your base training. That still applies here.

You are still an assassin, don't ever forget that. Now, take a minute break, and we start again." Was all that the white swordsman said before the two went at it again.

"She's getting much better though. She has good skills." Emily commented.

"Yeah. I know. I'll have your aunt bump it up a notch in a bit. We cant have Nat thinking she can defeat the famous White Swordsman, now do we?" I say with a chuckle, which Emily joins in, slowly turning into full-blown laughter, making the father-daughter pair to look like psychopaths.
