The Labyrinth in First Person

Leaping into the screen, I descended from the sky, far, far, far. faaaaar. Damn, I'm too high up.

Next time I should zoom in before I dive. This thought occurred to me as I let myself fall.

Everything had always seemed so tiny, but now that I could visit this place for myself I could finally see how gargantuan the maze was and how vast the biomes I placed stretched across the lands within. Meanwhile outside the cursed biome's blood-red desert stretched for miles and miles...

I couldn't help smirking, within the tower, the biomes changed from level to level but they switched from forest type to cave type. Those adventurers won't be prepared for the biome I had in store of them!

I pulled out my stylus pen. Wait... but the biomes within are good beneficially, if by some stroke of luck they managed to break through all these foodies would be here... like what if they suddenly started flying? The biome only affected those who came into contact with the sand hmmm....

Well, I was going there anyway.

The east section, the gem land. This biome seemed very similar to the cave they were born in.

I place the eggs from the Mother dragon within the cave. There was a lake nearby, it was common for dragon eggs to be placed near lava or fire right? But their mama's a frost dragon?

So they should be fine here, right? I caressed the egg.

(I better get you guys some company so you don't have to commit incest,) I muttered aloud.

Not like they could hear me of course.

Some dragons were asexual while others weren't. I'm not sure of which these are but either way, I need to get more.

I left them there.

On my way out I received a notification.

[Black tortoise has finished cultivating]

Nearly forgot about that one.

I flew over.

There was nothing but water. As I squinted at the surface I could see a black mass underneath.

"..."

It didn't say anything. I dropped in some stones and waited.

"..."

Was it not it?

I held out a hand to retrieve the stones, they floated towards me only to stop.

(?)

Suddenly water burst into the air and sent me flying. Like a geyser, it body-slammed me propelling me up into the air.

What was with that? These monsters aren't used to humans so did my sudden appearance make it defensive?

The thought severely bummed me out, I had been looking forward to interacting with the monsters close up. I returned back to my room.

So not only can humans touch me, but I can also be harmed by elemental attacks. Then, doesn't that mean that I could also die again? Maybe... I should hold off the thought of visiting the other kids. What if they attack me too?

I felt exhausted just at the thought.

(Hmm...)

I spent the remainder of my time spacing out and watching developments throughout the tower.

Maybe it was from being touched by a living being and blasted into the air by water, but I found it a bit hard to focus.

I needed something to heal. Some sun? Let's... let's plant something.

The thought suddenly occurred to me.

I browsed through the biomes and placed down a new one.
