Cai squinted at me.

"Hey, I am giving you the safest routes here. . ." I lied. I better start taking easy routes, some part of me was beginning to feel like I was helping the monsters get murdered.

Wasn't I actually making it easier for adventurers to clear floors by using Cai as a lawn mower? Tch. How annoying.

(This is it, the 100,300th floor. The treasure grade you seek is off to the left. Now my crystal pillar is down the mid-ah!)

I was going to float ahead when he pulled me back by my ankle. It felt like I had been shocked by static! I didn't think it was possible for someone to touch me. Aren't I a spirit? Shouldn't I be transparent?!

(What do you think you are doing?!)

"Take me to the treasure grade first! Earlier you were criticizing those people who left me first so finish the job!" Did he seem annoyed? I couldn't tell with this guy, he always had a resting bitch face. Still, his gaze felt distrusting.

Lately, his expression hasn't been so good even though I've been giving him safe routes as he wanted. Maybe that put him more on edge, he seemed to be waiting for something bad to happen. Having traumatized him to this point that he'd be paranoid, It took everything within me not to giggle.

(Let go of me and I will guide you.) On the other hand his touch felt weird.

When he released me, I hurried ahead to the right, forcing him to run after me as I sped through the path.

(The treasure grade is being guarded.) I announced to him.

(So if you still haven't properly healed yet. Here.) I handed him a hp potion.

Lately while following him, I figured out I could access my monsters from here as wells as the monster village, so long as I had my stylus, I could still perform my functions as admin.

Cai blinked at the hp potion I gave him blankly.

"You could make hp potions. . .the whole time?"

(Hm?)

"Why didn't you say you had a cure-all?!"

(What are you talking about it's an HP potion is not a cure-all!)

"This is a very valuable potion in my world, it can cure all illnesses and make one an immortal!"

(No way. . .seriously?!) If his face wasn't so serious I would think he was lying.

"Yes!"

(Well, you never asked me for potions, you asked me to take you to find a crystal treasure grade.) I pouted.

"But I told you I needed it for my Grandfather."

(Hey, I didn't know I could still access the store from here alright? What're you gonna do now? Are you gonna go home?)

Cai looked severely annoyed. He held his temples. Before he just glared at me when I annoyed him but I could tell he was very furious because he wouldn't even look at me now.

"I am going to get the crystal treasure grade. If Grandpa's illness were suddenly cured with a mysterious potion, it'd cause a ruckus. I will keep this for later."

(Or. . .) I held up a finger. (You could just drink it here.)

He brushed past me.

"What are the skills of the guardian beast?"

(Ice and earth. I will not tell you anything else. You can count on me to cheer for this beast too!)

But I could not cheer for the beast, nor did I get to see what it was capable of. As soon as I entered and something fell in from the ceiling he swung his sword and when the dust cleared I saw a crystal dragon lying lifeless on the floor.

"Oh, you poor thing." I couldn't help but feel sympathy for the beautiful creature and stroked it. She probably had a lot of insane powers, I think me pushing Cai to fight all those strong creatures might have made him too strong.

The dragon's dull eyes shifted.

[Calavera, the frost dragon has decided to entrust you with her eggs!]

Ah its because she was pregnant! The guilt I felt then was so crippling I descended. My spirits too low to float.

She popped out two dragon eggs, the life in her eyes fading, the second she did. She poofed into materials.

I clasped my hands. How sad. She was already at a disadvantage!

(Thank you, I will raise them with care.) I said bowing towards the dragon's corpse.

Cai had already acquired the treasure chest and was now watching on from afar.

(You can not have these.) I told him immediately.

"They're too big for me to carry anyway. Besides a lot of people would fight over a frost dragon's eggs.

"I see." I touched the eggs and the corpse and they glowed with light before disappearing into my inventory.

I had actually been collecting a lot of the corpses and materials he defeated. According to the guidelines they could be remade into powerful weapons. This experience wasn't a total waist, I feel guilty so many died because of me though.

(Well? You got what you wanted, yes?) I glanced at him.

"I have. Thank you." He still seemed angry but a lot calmer now. This guy... he was just as moody as me.

(Hmm. Well then, I am going to go. Do not bother me again human.)

"I found a lot of treasures thanks to you. If I ever visit this place, I will most certainly bother you again."

I frowned at him and flew away.

"You will not tell me your name?" I had flown into the pillar room only to find him following. These pillars were teleporters I think so he probably had to use one to return to his world as well.

(Why do you want to know?) I was reminded of creeps that insisted on walking me home in the past.

Do they think they're doing a good deed or something? What girl would want someone creep to know where they live?!

Just the memory made me want to wretch.

He seemed to be in a good mood. I do not understand this person. (Don't you hate me?)

"Me? No." Cai looked at me funny. "If I hated you, I would have already killed you. You are very useful to me."

(!) Indeed...it probably would be quite easy to kill me. The thought left my mind blank as I lifted a hand.

(I see, well then bye-aiyaaaahahhh!)

He grabbed my ankle again. The shocking sensation every time he touched there made me feel uncomfortable.

(W-what do you want ah?! Unhand me!)

"Your name."

"It is Zhuzhi, are you happy? Damn bastard, let go! Fricking deadpan-faced ass looking frying pan!"

Cai smiled. I was used to seeing him with no expression usually so I was sort of surprised.

(I still do not like you though. I hate you! So disgusting! So don't go liking me! Your feelings won't be returned.) I said squinting and pointing at him. I really don't understand this person! He was very mad at me earlier how can he be like this?

I flew into the crystal and imagined the white void.

FWIP.

I was back in my room again. It felt a bit lonely now that I was finally alone again but also refreshing.

How could I describe it? I felt like a fish that returned to its pond. I got to see many sights but home is best.

But this was good, I had been meaning to make use of what I learned and tried something. I dived into the screen and entered the forbidden section.
