16- Victory

Sounds of metal hitting each other echoed in the now empty hall, both princes have agreed to empty the room and fight each other in silence, both now breathing heavily. They've been at it for a long time now, but neither of them won yet. This made Braxton, who was only a year older than Kenji frustrated.

"Come on, it's either you give up or I kill you"

Kenji said, sounding very confident.

"You are not going to make it out this room alive, mark my words!!"

Braxton exclaimed, smirking, pointing his sword at Kenji who now stood straight, laughing.

"I wasn't going to give it my all for this little fight, and I wasn't going to kill you, but you attacked my kingdom, killed the innocent citizens of my kingdom, killed most of my generals and guards, your men even dared to kill some of the women in this palace and on the streets, you even dared to hurt a King? Just because you are a prince of one of the strongest kingdoms doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. An eye for an eye, a sin for a sin, and a life for a life!"

Kenji said before running towards Braxton unexpectedly.

Prince Braxton was surprised, he never knew that Kenji cared about his people, but didn't show it on his face, he was standing in a defense position, but what Kenji did shocked him. Pretending to aim for the front but jumping over his enemy using all his strength, then cutting his enemy's head in half is a trick Kenji uses against his strong enemies that play smart, knowing that men don't have quick reflexes is an advantage for her.

Braxton's head was cut in half, vertically, blood splashing on the floor. Braxton's brain was cut in half as well, she watched his body fall on the ground. Picking up his sword, the said girl felt proud, not a bit of guilt, walking towards the door, thinking about the people's reactions. She finally opened the big door and walked towards prince Braxton's men who held her people and her father as hostages and gave them their leader's sword. Kenji untied some of the hostages and told them to untie the others, not forgetting to tell them about the other hostages who were in different places of the palace. The young girl bowed to her father before leaving and heading to her room, where her other half, Jade was.
