A few days past since I killed him, and now here I am, attending the funeral of prince Braxton whom I killed.
I watched silently as they burned his coffin, "That's how things work around here I see" I murmured quietly.
The sounds of kids crying brought tears to the people's eyes, some people were fake crying and that made them look so stupid,
no one around here likes prince Braxton, not his siblings, and not even his parents.
"Pathetic" I said loud enough for the people around me to hear, giving me dirty looks and scoffing as they looked my way, these people are very stupid. I rolled my eyes at their actions and looks and sighed, I walked away from the crowd and walked closer to the royal family.
Showing the guards my royal pass, a piece of hard wood, a bit bigger than the size of my hand, with my name was engraved on its front with gold, and the name of my kingdom was engraved on its back with gold as well. I stood behind the royal family, close to the guards who were in defense position, in case someone tried to attack their king or the royal family. One of the kids, whom I think is the king's grandson, looked my way and started walking towards me. I kneeled down to the child's height and patted his head as the guards looked at me suspiciously.
"Are you uncle Braxton's friend?"
The boy asked, rubbing his right eye with his right hand.
"No, I'm his killer"
I smiled, trying to make the child hate me.
The said boy froze in his place, his hands were now at his sides, he turned around and walked away without saying anything.
I stood up straight and fixed my clothe, still watching the child as he ran into his mother's arms, crying. The young woman looked my way,
so I did as I always do and smiled, flinching before turning around and watching the coffin burn, the said lady seemed to be scared of me.
"What a bunch of pathetic loosers"
I mumbled before I headed towards the king.
"You know, your son was a great warrior, very strong and smart for his young age, but so am I. Too bad for him, I was a few steps ahead."
I spoke confidently with a stern voice, standing next to the king of Prythian.
The said man looked down and sighed.
I ignored the fact that he might be in pain since his son died and continued talking to him.
"I wasn't going to kill him,, but when I remembered how he killed my people, not only men, but women and children as well,
I just couldn't forgive him."
I continued whilst looking ahead, showing no emotion on my face, but my voice showed rage and anger, my teeth clenched.
The king tensed as he continued listening silently.
"I was going to attack your little weak kingdom after I kill him, but after giving too much thoughts.
The weather here is warmer than Astardowiel, so why don't we make a deal?"
