Crusaders March Part 1

The church had pulled all the stops, their now decked out paladins standing at the behest of a bristling field of stalks. Spanning for eight miles Leon and Frederick stood side by side.

Behind them a platoon of novice paladins. Easily as strong as sixth circle mages. Though much of that was the equipment they were stacked with. Whereas Leon and Frederick had relic sets, the paladins behind them had their equipment and weapons boosted with powerful enchantments and a few consumables to make sure they dont die so easily. If at all.

Leon smiled at the forces. He brought himself back from his daydream. As those stalks were in fact the bristling halberts, spears and heads of his troops. Both armies of the two paladins were gathered, whilst the novice paladins did in fact of some troops themselves. It wasn't there for combat use, but logical use. Instead the novices would be sent to learn, to experience their first Crusade.
