Let Gabby sleep in your house

After their stomach felt like it couldn't be filled with food anymore, Michael invited Gabby into the house. The boy's house was quite deserted, there were only a few waiters busy going in and out of the door.

As it was getting late, more guests left the party and went home. Most of the guests who came were people Michael didn't recognize. But the boy still had to put on a friendly face when he passed them.

Michael threw himself down on the sofa, and it wasn't long before Gabby sat down beside him. Less than 5 minutes they stayed there, Gabby was already fast asleep. The girl's lips parted slightly and her face looked ridiculous. Michael turned and smiled faintly, his hand trying to cover Gabby's lips.

Agnes and Daniel were told by Adam that Gabby was sleeping in Michael's house. When they entered, they could see that their child was sleeping and her body was covered with a blanket. Next to the sofa, Michael was sitting on the floor reading a book.

"Ah, good night." Michael closed his book when he saw Gabby's parents present.

"Sorry to bother you." Agnes smiled.

Seeing his daughter asleep on the sofa at Michael's house made Daniel feel uncomfortable. How could an unmarried woman sleep under the same roof as a man?

"I'll wake Gabby first." Daniel walked over, ready to wake his daughter.

As Daniel shook Gabby's body, the girl frowned in her sleep. Gabby slowly opened her eyes, "Five more minutes."

"There's no five minutes." Daniel pulled Gabby's hand lightly, "Come on, wake up now."

Gabby closed her eyes again, "I'm sleepy, my stomach is full too. I can't walk."

Daniel sighed, his hands slipped under Gabby's head and ready to pick up his daughter. But Agnes moved faster, tugging at Michael's wrist.

"Michael, please take care of my child." Agnes looked at Michael, "Let her sleep here overnight."

"What?!" Daniel screamed inadvertently.

"Do you have any other ideas?" Agnes folded her arms in front of her chest, "You can carry her, but your bones are already brittle."

Gabby was still unconscious when she frowned again. The noise and chatters from Michael's living room bothered her. The girl then started to whine and covered her ears.

Seeing Gabby's face that looked like she was about to cry made Michael chuckle. He raised his hand and stroked Gabby's head. Over time, the girl was seen sleeping soundly again.

"But at least Gabby can sleep in our house!" Daniel exclaimed. The man's eyes bulged when he saw Michael stroking his daughter's head.

How could his daughter sleep in another boy's house? How could this happen?! Even though Daniel always reminded her to be careful with men like Michael.

Agnes ignored her husband's nagging and smiled sweetly when she saw Michael's action. The woman opened her mouth and whispered, "Michael? Is it okay if Gabby sleeps here?"

Michael looked away from Gabby and looked at Agnes. The man could feel his face flushed with shame. This was the first time a woman besides his mother had slept at his house.

"O-of course." Michael removed his hand from Gabby's head and stroked his nape.

Daniel choked with his own saliva, "Of course not!"

"My daughter sleeps under the same roof with a stranger? Not a chance!" Daniel continued.

Agnes put her hand on her waist, "Michael is not a stranger!" Her voice shrank when she saw Gabby who was about to wake up, "He is our future son-in-law, is there something wrong? They only sleep here, don't think anything weird!"

"Jeez ..." Daniel shook his head, his hands massaging his forehead. After a while, Daniel sighed. He glared at Michael's face who looked tired, "You don't take a chance, okay!"

"Chance?" Michael's eyes widened in shock.

"Yes! Don't take off my child's clothes, don't you dare touch my daughter, don't ..." Daniel's face flushed.

Agnes, who was fed up with her husband's nonsense, chose to interrupt his words, "Michael we entrusted Gabby to you, okay? My husband and I are going home now."

Michael nodded his head slowly, "Be careful on the road." The boy then stood up, wanting to show Gabby's parents out the door, "I'll make sure Gabby will be okay here."

When Daniel wanted to open his mouth again, he could feel Agnes pushing himself out of the room. But that did not dampen Daniel's intention, he turned his head and shouted, "Just watch out until you..."

Daniel's voice could not be heard again because Agnes had closed the door of Michael's house loudly.

After seeing Gabby's parents leave the house, Michael turned around and sat down next to Gabby. The boy adjusted Gabby's hair and lifted her head slowly.

Michael put his right hand under Gabby's neck and his left under her leg. Before lifting the woman's body, Michael sighed. His eyes widened in shock as he lifted her. It turned out the girl was so light! Gabby ate a lot, but she didn't weigh that much. Did she have parasitic worms?

"Young master, your parents are gone..." After cleaning the garden, Adam stepped into Michael's house. When he saw Michael carrying Gabby, the man ran over.

"Young master!" Adam tried to take Gabby out of Michael's hand, "I'll take Miss Gabby upstairs."

Michael shook his head, "It's okay, she'll wake up later."

Adam narrowed his eyes then nodded his head slowly. Michael was the type of man who rarely played sports. He preferred to read books or play the piano rather than exercise. How could he lift Gabby?

Feelings of fear and uncertainty made Adam follow Michael from behind. Adam was afraid that Michael would lose his balance and then fall on his way.

But even though Michael was blushing and sweaty, he didn't knock Gabby out. The boy kept his firm steps.

Arriving at the special guest room, Michael gently laid Gabby's body on the bed. He was panting with his breath as he wiped his sweat with the back of his hand. After catching his breath, the boy looked down and took off Gabby's shoes.

Michael slowly pulled the blanket from the cupboard. He walked over and covered Gabby with the blanket.

Adam, who had been standing by the door, couldn't believe what he saw. The man rubbed his eyes many times and kept seeing the same thing. Michael turned from a cold, unapproachable boy to a caring person.

"Is the young master sleeping here?" Adam asked.

"Huh?! Of course not!" Michael turned quickly, he could feel his bone nearly breaking.

"I mean ... I will prepare your room." Adam walked away from Michael.

Michael looked at Gabby who was still sleeping soundly. The boy smiled as he adjusted the blanket, after which he came out and closed the door quietly.

About one in the morning Gabby woke up. Her hand looked for her cellphone on the table but found nothing. Gabby gave up and turned around trying to find Nara. When her nose inhaled the strange smell of the sheets she opened her eyes wide.

Gabby just realized that she was sleeping in a strange room. The woman turned and saw the window blinds covering the outside view. Gabby's mind was filled with possibilities that didn't make any sense.

Was she being kidnapped? Was it possible that Gabby was being locked up here while the criminals were waiting for a ransom from her parents?

Gabby quickly got out of bed and headed for the door. She opened the door loudly and shouted when she saw the figure standing in front of her.

"AH!!" Gabby fell backwards.

Michael felt his heart almost jump out when he just got back from the kitchen with a glass of water. He held his chest and put the glass on the table near the guest room's door. Not long after that Adam, wearing a nightgown, ran towards them.

"Why are you here?!" Gabby shouted, and then stood up and rubbed her ass.

"This is my house." Michael replied.

Gabby walked over and saw Adam who was standing near Michael, "...Why am I here?"

"You overslept. When your father woke you up, you cried and said you didn't want to go home because you missed Michael." The boy teased as he took his water and handed it to Gabby, "So I feel sorry for you."

"I said that?" Gabby asked in disbelief, she took the glass and took a sip.

"Not." Michael replied briefly, the boy hadn't been able to stop smiling.

"Ha ha so funny." Gabby handed the glass into Michael's hand, "Then I'll go home first."

"Go home?!" Michael grabbed Gabby's wrist as he walked away, "It's one in the morning, your parents must be sleeping."

Adam nodded his head, "It's better for you to sleep here first."

"But I can't sleep alone, usually Nara accompanies me." Gabby whispered.

"Then I'll sleep with you." Michael replied quickly.

"You're just trying to find an excuse." Gabby teased but the girl nodded her head, "Okay, let's go to sleep. I'm still sleepy."

Adam walked backward, he shook his head slowly as he thought, 'They're just sleeping, they definitely won't do anything weird.'
