I thought you weren’t one

"Gabby!"

The familiar voice sounded clearly in Gabby's ears. She looked up and saw a black figure running toward her. He was seen protecting himself from the downpour with a large gray umbrella.

"Gabby, what are you doing here?" Michael covered Gabby's head from the pouring rain. "Do you know how many people are looking for you right now?!"

Gabby's face turned pale and her body was shivering with cold. She frowned and pursed her lips. The girl then lowered her head again and whispered hoarsely.

"You don't even understand my problem," Gabby muttered.

Hearing that made Michael frown. As he crouched down and saw Gabby's face filled with tears, the boy's heart felt like it was being stabbed by a sharp knife. Michael sighed and pulled Gabby closer. He then put his left hand around Gabby's waist.

"...Don't cry anymore," Michael tightened his arms. "I understand. You know that I am the only person who will always support your choice,"
