11.lonely again

Adley pov!

The class went smooth, except for the fact that ethan was sulking behind me,well I agree it was my fault,but c'mon can't he act a bit more mature!

The class was over along with students swarming out of the class,I turn behind to talk to ethan,but he is fast to get up and leave the class,

"Hey!" And...he's gone,I pack my bag,lowkey expecting him to wait for me at the locker like before.

.....

I frown,as I don't find ethan near the locker,guess he really left me alone.

Sadned by the fact that I had to walk alone,I slowly walk out of the campus.with my cramped leg!

I heard a bike horn,which made me turn back.to find a guy with helmet on his bike stopping beside me!

"Get back!leyy!I see you don't have anyone to accompany you today,I'll drop you off"says the guy

"Its ok Samuel! I'll take the metro!"

"Whyd you take the metro, when you got the Samuel offering you a ride!"he says flirtatiously, winking at me😉

"Hehe!still the metro sounds a better option"

"Rude! But I'm not taking no for answer,and your knee in abit sore too, don't act too formal,I'll jus drop you!not a big deal!hop on!"he says bored,guesturing me to to get back

I look at him still confused,...I'll just go with him! Its not like someone's waiting for me anyway!...and samuel is a nice guy

"Okay!"

Ethan pov

I was waiting in the line for her to join me,but she didn't come.i took my regular seat along with our usual food but still no sign of her.i stared at my food for the whole time hoping she'd be back but she refused to appear.finally giving up,I decided to go check her if something was wrong,

I ran to the class,to hear giggles and laughs filled classroom,I slightly peeked inside,she was with Samuel playing,and laughing with him,I felt...I don't know... what's this feeling...maybe leftout.....again, lonely?.

Also angry,I rushed back to the canteen,I didn't have mood nor time to finish my food.i took my things and was about to head out ,when I saw her food on the table still waiting for her!.she didn't have lunch too....

That's how I packed her lunch,and was too confused to face her,so the Only option was to give her silent treatment.so put the wrap in front of her went to my seat.avioiding most of her question.

I overreacted! I know I overreacted,thats what I thought the whole class.but I wasn't the one to apologise coz it was her mistake too.

But I was no more angry on her,so I decided to leave the class early and hide near the road cross,....and do that booOoOoOOoo thing to jump scare her!....u know to make things cool between us!!

I was still hiding at the corner waiting for her to appear....

But I see her pass by me on a bike... Samuels bike in particular....

'i guess she doesn't need me anymore!" I mumbled to myself,i kicked a pebble on way,and walked home with heavy heart!

Im in no place to question her! Its her life,she can be with anyone and leave anyone, even if it's me!

...yaa!! I'm just overthinking!! she'll be back to normal tomorrow.ill talk to her! I think shaking my head.i hope I won't get lonely again!

It was already night I was getting ready for my bed.

A notification pops up, which makes me smile

Adley: wait for me at the cross tomm Morin, we'll both go together!

Oh!uh! wrong timing,im busy tomm

Me:sorry! Can't make it!I'll be late to uni tomm,abit busy,but I'll try to catch up before lunch!

The last msg makes me smile,and I drift off to sleep!

It was already, lunch break!so I quickly ran to the campus,I missed the morning classes bcoz of my family came to meet me today,and my mood was off too.

However I wanted to meet adley and talk to her to end this child games of avoiding her.i hope she is waiting for me too..

Ive been searching for her for the past 15 mins .she's nowhere not in the canteen, lockers or hallway!I stop mid way as I realise,oh she might still be at the class!...I said I'll join her for the lunch,she might still be waiting for my way,my mouth turns down wards at the thought,I don't want keep her waiting.i facepalm myself, she's right I'm an idiot!I run towards the class smiling towards the class,but my smile turns to a frown ,a sad frown ....when I see her enjoying her lunch with Samuel., poking and playing with him playfully.

I sadly scoff to myself,what did I think, she'd be waiting for me?,

"Guess she really doens't need me anymore!"

I walk out with my head down, biting my lower lip trying not let my emotions get the best of me!

I run away! When I hear foot steps approaching

"Ethan!stop!"thats the last thing i hear.

Adley's pov

I was sad ethan couldn't join me in the morning,as he was 'busy'.

But I hoped he'd atleast join me for lunch, everyone was out for canteen.except me and

"Here! my grandma sent this" Samuel says

I look down to see a lunch box in his hand!

"Noo!!its fine!she prepared it for you!I'm ok!" I say politely declining his offer

"u missed ur lunch yesterday bcoz of me .I felt sorry that ethan was mad at you also bcoz of me.so I specially asked Grandma to prepare it for you"

"But.."

"I wanted ethan to join us too,but I guess he is not here"he says

"Ya he had some work..."

"That's fine!but join me... my grandma is a great cook! don't you wanna try?she'd feel bad if you don't" he says with a frown

I look down as he opens his lunch box

Those sandwiches got me drooling🤤 !

"Okay!!move aside"

Halfway through the lunch i see as shadow leaning out side the door, with its head low.it doens't take me a second to realise its ethan

I get up get him!!but he ran away!

I feel really bad for him! I should've known!he might be so upset
