In Lucy's POV
Natsu Dragoneel notices that Lucy Heartfilia has been becoming more distant than usual after the last Job. A job that made them have to act as though they were married. Natsu is left wondering 'What did he do wrong'

Lucy notices, after the most recent job, that she love Natsu but she does think he loves her back. She starts taking jobs on her own and becomes a one person team in a matter of days. She avoids Natsu like he is the plague. 

Erza Scarlet also notices this behavior and she tries to talk to Lucy but Lucy won't give in. She is forced to make Gray, Natsu, Happy, Carla, and Wendy to go after Lucy with her, when she decides to go and a very dangerous job alone.

Gray Fullbuster, the fourth member of the original team, also takes up notice when Erza demand that they  follow Lucy before she gets herself killed.

What they team doesn't know is that Lucy know they are following and is intent on losing them.

Will they save Lucy or will she die?

If Only You Knew (Nalu)

"Lucy, why are you doing this?" Gray asks.


"I just want to be left alone, I want to get stronger, I want to prove that I am capable of going alone. And people should toy around with other people's feelings." I answer spotting the perfect job. One that has been on the board longer than any other. I pull it off the board.


"I don't mean to be a bother but may I suggest taking someone on this one. I mean Erza has gone before and she never completed it. She said that she kept getting attacked." Gray says, but I walk away and head out the door. But before I am out of hearing distance I hear Erza scream, "She did what?!"


I run away from the guild and on toward a mission that I know I am going to most likely die on. I don't care though. It is better this way than being victimized all the time, even if he doesn't realize that he is. I can't help but want to be loved back by him. And it kills me to leave them but I just have to.


As I walk to the job, all I can think of is him. Not even for a second wavering from him. I worry that he is going to come after me and get himself killed. I arrive and talk to the Major of the town.


"So you must be for Fairy Tail to finally kill all those demons." He assumes. 


"Yes, Sir. Leave it to me." I say and he points to the area outside of town and head that way.


The moment I hit the cursed ground I see a demon. He rushes towards me. I grab the key to Sagittarius. "Open gate of the Archer, Sagittarius!"


I point him towards the demon and tell him to kill it. But I didn't realize that there is another demon and it manages to grab me from behind. Wrapping its cold fingers around my neck.


The cold fingers tighten against my neck, until I  swear I feel myself turn purple and unable to speak. I grip the whip that I always have and I lash over my shoulder. I cry out in pain, I hit and burned my own shoulder. The demon lets go.


Lashing out at the demon over and over, I wind up cornering it. But I see many more appearing. I know that me and Sagittarius can't do this alone. So with one hand I continue lashing out, the other hand grabbing a key. 


"Open, gate of the virgin, Virgo." Virgo appears in front of me.


"Is it time for punishment, Princess." Jeez, She really needs to quit that.


"No time for talk. We are kinda in need of help." I point to the other demons that are quickly adding up. Loki appears with out me summoning him, and he begins to fight with Virgo. Suddenly, we are so out numbered that I see Ares come on her own. Which she never does.


I feel something enter my side and look to it. A black knife sticking out of my side. A searing  pain wrenches screams from me. I see memories that I was trying to ignore. I can't believe I left him. If he was here, there is a chance that I won't die. I wish the one I love was here. But current Natsu is still at the guild.
