Natsu Dragoneel, a stubborn man, finally figures out how he feels about his partner Lucy. but he can't seem to tell her. So instead he becomes like her pet. Hoping that she will figure out that he loves her. 

Lucy Heartfilia, a woman of many words, knows that Natsu is only acting up because he loves her. She only uses the fact of his behavior to get him to say the words. She wants to tell him that she loves him but she feels like it would be weird if she says it first.

The rest of the gang start to take notice. While some try to help Natsu out with Lucy, others are not so helpful. But things are going to take a fast turn.

Will they ever tell each other how they feel? Will Their friends be supportive of how they feel?

Chains (Nalu)

We get the job done. I continue to carry Lucy on my back. Erza and Jellal go and pay her rent. She refused that at first but they were not going to back done, so she gave in. Everyone in the guild looks at us.


"Don't worry about it. Can I do anything else?" I ask. Gajeel gives me a thumbs up. Erza and Jellal smile. Gray is currently smirking while trying to remove a clingy Juvia. Levy is reading a book next to Lucy.


"Can I have some water." I nod and rush over to Mira. She hand me a glass of water. I hurry back and give her the glass. I will do anything for you, Lucy. 


Laxus notices and laughs. "Man, you're acting like a pet."


I growl. Lucy looks up at me with a hand resting on my arm. She smiles, so I smile back. But I know that Laxus is right. Lucy looks away from me, and grabs the glass of water, which I had no idea she had put it down, to take a sip. I look away from Lucy.


Mira walks up to Laxus, and she puts a arm around him. He blushes for a second before making her stop. Everyone laughs, but the only one I hear is Lucy.


"Hey, Laxus. Do me a favor and shut up." Mira tells Laxus. And he really does. Everyone laughs at him.


Lucy goes to stand, but Erza and I make her sit back down. "Guys, I have to go to the bathroom."


I back up and Lucy gets up, Erza goes to follow her. But before Erza could get up, Lucy falls. I catch her. I can't lose you. Erza takes Lucy from me. I watch Lucy struggle to walk away with Erza. Everyone looks at me, and I feel the tears fill my eyes. Gray makes me sit. I just want her to be okay.


"You going to be okay?" Mira and Lisanne ask.


"I just hope she is okay. She has to get better." I say putting my head in my hands. I know that I am overthinking it but I can't help but want her to be safe.


"You really love her." Gray says quietly. "You should really tell her."


"You think I don't know that." I say and I hear the door open. I look over and see Erza carrying her. "Wendy, can't you do anything?"


"I can try." She answers. Erza sits Lucy next to Wendy. Wendy tries to use wind magic to heal her. Will she be okay? She will, she has to be.


Gray and Erza watch me as I watch Lucy. Tears fill her eyes and I want to jump up. I want to tear Wendy apart for causing her pain. But I asked her to help. Color starts to fill her cheeks and she stops wincing. Wendy stops.


"That is all I can do right now. You have a lot of injuries." Wendy states.


"Thanks, I already feel better." Lucy says. "In fact, I feel like I can run around all day."


I give Wendy a nod. Lucy gets up and I jump up. She laughs. Man, how I have missed her laugh. I see her walking towards me without stumbling. I can't believe it. I smile.


The guild hollers and makes Lucy jump. Now it is our tie to laugh at her.
