Natsu Dragoneel, a stubborn man, finally figures out how he feels about his partner Lucy. but he can't seem to tell her. So instead he becomes like her pet. Hoping that she will figure out that he loves her. 

Lucy Heartfilia, a woman of many words, knows that Natsu is only acting up because he loves her. She only uses the fact of his behavior to get him to say the words. She wants to tell him that she loves him but she feels like it would be weird if she says it first.

The rest of the gang start to take notice. While some try to help Natsu out with Lucy, others are not so helpful. But things are going to take a fast turn.

Chains (Nalu)

That afternoon, Wendy does another healing period and says that she needs to do one more before she is back to normal. Lucy decides to go home and asks Happy and I go with her. She even asks for a piggyback ride. That is when I realize that she is drunk. I smile and let her climb on. We say goodbye and start a small trek to her apartment. I open her apartment door, then set her on her bed. As I go to leave, she grasps my arm and pulls me down into the bed. She cuddles with me.


She has a sweet smile on her face as she falls asleep in my arms. I watch her, without knowing I fall asleep.


When I open my eyes, I see her staring at me with those beautiful brown eyes. I look at her, and she blushes. My face begins to heat up when I realize that I am still holding her and we are in her bed. 


"We didn't. I swear." I rush out. She laughs.


"I know. I still remember. I look down at the foot of the bed and see Happy still flecked out. A knock hits the door, and I get up to get it. Erza and Gray stand there smiling. They walk in.


"So what happened last night." Erza asks.


"Not what you think." I say and Lucy tells them the story. Which how she got it completely correct even though she was drunk, I don't know.


"Man, you guys are the lamest couple I have ever heard of." Gray states causing us to blush. Then Juvia walks in with Levy, Gajeel, and Jellal. Gray and Juvia hug. Wait, what is that, when did that happen. I want that with Lucy. I don't know when I started looking at Lucy, but she hugs me.


"I don't know." Lucy looks up at me. I can't help it. I look down into her eyes. Kiss her. "I want to be."


Shock rears in my heart. She feels the same. Her face is facing the others. I turn it and kiss her.


"Oh My God. It is happening." Levy and Juvia say, Everyone laughs.
