Sora woke up on the couch energetically, he slept like a log yesterday, that's why he felt so full of energy,

After getting up and was about to wear his uniform, Sora heard his phone ring.

"Nice!" Sora exclaimed after reading the post, it says that the class today will be suspended again due to many floods caused by the heavy rain, it's from their school website.

Sora then quickly changes into his casual outfit and got out of the house with an umbrella, he saw it was heavily raining, hr then opened his umbrella and steps out.

After a couple of turns, Sora got onto a flower shop. He enters it and bought a bouquet.

Sora then called over a taxi and said his destination, while inside the cab Sora recalled all his past experiences while his father was in the hospital and how much he has grown to become more dependable. He is also happy about how things are turning out, 'I mean, I have such a loving girlfriend, a beautiful best friend, a not so dependable yet reliable onee-san, overall I have a group of amazing people surrounding me.'

Sora was happy inside and outside, as it was shown how bright his smile was it was even brighter than any stars. But like everything, the moment ended as fast as it started, as his cab stopped across from a huge hospital.

The hospital is a four-storied building, it is situated in one of the most populated if not the most populated part of the city center. It was full of people inside and outside the building, many are rushing while others are just chilling.

Sora took a deep breath inhaling the gas excluded by the cars passing by.

*cough*

'it's so polluted here, it's good that I live near the outskirts or this will be my daily outdoor experience.'

"And why would a huge hospital that has obviously many patients, be in such a polluted area," Sora exclaimed unintentionally saying it out loud.

"Well, first it's in the city center, second many people recommended it cause it's one of the biggest hospitals in the city, and lastly it also has a long history in this area, even before this place is called the city center." An old man next to Sora said, while slowly crossing the street with his cane and umbrella.

"Oh! So that's why. Let me help you old man," Sora said, reaching for the old man seeing him struggling to walk across.

"Oh please, I'm still young, though I do appreciate the goodwill." The old man said.

"Yeah right old man 'still young he says'" Sora murmured but felt bad afterward.

"Oh! Don't you think I didn't hear you? C'mon help me walk faster it's raining cats and dogs." The old man said disregarding the modest attitude he had a moment ago.

After crossing the road, Sora let go of the old man and said goodbye.

"Hm, seems like I need to take the stairs," Sora said seeing the elevator is in maintenance.

"Damn this hospital, how am I supposed to get to the third floor!" Sora heard an angry voice nearby. He turned his head and saw the old man from earlier, grumbling and banging his stick onto the floor.

The nurses are also alarmed and look over, so are the patients. He attracted quite a bit of an audience. It so happens that a doctor was snacking on the vending machine nearby he lowered his chips and got up walking near the old man.

"Old Suu what's the problem?" He asked.

"I can't get to the third floor because your damn elevator is on maintenance." The old man replied. They seem familiar to each other by the way they talk to one another.

"I can take you to elevator two, it's working there." The doctor said but was rebutted again by the old man.

"I can't walk that far, I'm old, my knees may break because of that." The old man said.

"Oh, c'mon old Suu your still young, oh I know I'll get a wheelchair for you." The doctor said having a bright smile.

"That's good, bring it." The old man said impatiently.

The doctor didn't seem displeased and just went away to get a wheelchair for the old man. All this time Sora was watching him waiting in line to sign on to the log so he can visit his father.

The doctor came back with the wheelchair but was called by a nurse. There seems to be an emergency.

Sora stops looking towards the old man and looks up towards the T.V. It was a mess, just five minutes ago a car and a bus full of people crashed onto each other on a bridge, and because of the rain, the bus was pushed onto the railings of the bridge, nearly falling onto the main road down below. While the car skidded into other cars and crashed onto another 2 cars causing a domino effect. Many were injured and the nearest hospital was in City Center.

Just a couple of seconds later, many ambulances started to drop off people one after another. The scene is gruesome. After the doctor left, the old man was left to the side. Sora after logging in looks over to the old man, he saw him just sitting in his wheelchair slowly rolling the wheel to get towards the second elevator on the second building.

"Hey old man, need some help?" The old man heard a voice over his shoulder causing him to look over, seeing that this young man was the one that helped him earlier he gladly accepted.

"Very well." He said.

The two talked to each other casually, and with no time reached the second building. They then got onto the elevator, Sora dropped the old man first towards his destination on the 4th floor of the first building.

"It's nice meeting you old man Suu," Sora said waving goodbye towards the old man.

"Nice meeting you too kid, and thank you," The old man said waving goodbye back, returning the kindness, because Sora took the time to push him from building 1 to building 2 for the elevator and back to building 1 on the fourth floor the buildings are connected but they are called building one and two to not have so many rooms in so that rooms can be easily located.

"No problem old man, take care," Sora said with a fading voice as he goes down the stairs towards the third floor.

"SORA! Where have you been!? Uncl--" Sora heard an urgent voice coming from the corridor, he looks on and saw Chifuyu with teary eyes.

Sora saw that and immediately dropped his bouquet onto the ground and ran as fast as he can to the room his father was located, he ran past Chifuyu not waiting for any confirmation, he wants to see to himself, he wants to confirm, he wants to... see his father even for the last time... smile.
