I wake up early and turn off my alarm. Today is going to be a good day. Last night, Adrien was here until late. But for about the last hour, he was being hounded by my parents. He passed though. I get dressed in the usual and race to eat breakfast. Alya walks in and I yell telling my parents that we are leaving. Nino and Adrien are outside the school. Today is going to be a....

Bad day. Chloe found out. She is going to hurt you. You'll lose everyone and then we can jump. I know how much that will help. Chloe can hurt what isn't here. We should have jumped by now.

Adrien eyes meet mine and he hugs me. He whispers softly so I am the only one who can hear him, "I love you, we'll get through this. I am not going anywhere."

After a few seconds, lets go and I smile as we walk to class. Chloe is sitting in my seat with Sabrina next to her.

"Your seat is in the back. See Lila has the front, idiot," Chloe smirks but it doesn't last long.

"Okay, hey Kim," Adrien calls out.

"Yeah?" Kim pops into the room.

"You and Max want our spot?"

"Sure," He hurries and tells Max. You hear some sort of snort coming from the hall. We walk to the back. Nino and Alya sit where Kim and Max spots used to be. Adrien and I sit right behind them. He holds my hand under the desk. Chloe looks like she is fuming. As our teacher walks in, she looks surprised but says nothing.

If you paid attention, you could see that both Lila and Chloe are mad that Adrien went with me to the back. Alya and Nino have been busy glaring at them. Adrien lets his thumb rub circles on the back of my hand. Every once in a while, he writes a couple of words on the corner of his paper when I am sad. As lunch comes around, the four of us swiftly head to the cafeteria together.

"So, are you two together?" Nino asks as Alya snickers.

"I thought it was obvious, Nino," Adrien replies with a bit of sassy. I chuckle. Today is a good day.

Then just as soon as we round a corner, Lila and Chloe are standing there. They smile at Adrien as they pull on my arm. They yank me away from Adrien, who started to get mad, and pull me quickly to a girls bathroom. Alya not far behind.

You're about to get everything you deserve. I told you that today is a bad day. But would you listen to the one person that has your back. No! So now you have to pay the consequence.

I can't quite figure out what they are doing as they beat me. Though the next thing I remember is Alya screaming for Nino to get a teacher and Adrien to get the nurse. Lila and Chloe continue to beat me until Alya gets in the way. Once that happens, they run out and Alya tries to help me up and out of the bathroom. It is a slow process and by the time we made it out. The teacher and our principal are talking to Lila and Chloe about their behaviour and the school nurse is coming down the hall with Adrien leading the way.

I see his eyes widen as he see what they had done, and he almost runs over to me. "Marinette, what did they do?"

As the Nurse sits down and starts helping me, I start to tune out. Alya tells them what she had seen occur and they all took notice that I am not very sure about what happened. One minute I was being yanked away from Adrien and the next I was on the floor in a world of pain.

Adrien picks me up and follows the nurse back to her office. He leans down and places a kiss on my forehead. Then he whispers, "I will see you right after school. Don't do anything stupid. I love you."

The nurse blocks my vision of him leaving and starts speaking. Though I don't really hear her, I can guess she is telling me to rest and that she contacted my parents. I close my eyes and drift off into the bleak unknown.

(Oh), a sound plays off in the back of my mind. Then my voice tries to talk. But I don't want it to, so I end up singing to cover it up.

I start to turn away from the voice, making sure that it is behind me.

I wake up with a startle to see Adrien and my parents both in seats next to me. Adrien is holding my hand for comfort, though I am not sure who is trying to comfort more.
