"And Pete's father had to carry on the family circle by living in Mary Hills even though he was already an engineer in Lancaster." Tori ended her speech with a smile as everyone applauded her.

"Thank you." She expressed as she took a smart curtsy after which Mr. Quint let her and Pete know they could go to their seats.

Gracie didn't have much enjoyment in their history research. She knew everything about Tori, the fact that her mother was an indigene of Mary Hills and her dad decided they ought to live in the town after her death.

While on the other hand, she was less interested in anything about Pete. The one she heard from Tori was enough and all that pleased her right now was the glare she was throwing Pete. He was a monster, worse than the blood suckers. At least, all they seek was food and solution and him, was a devil sent to destroy her best friend.

"I have a feeling that Mr. Quint would be calling me next." Jenny whispered to Gracie.
