Fighting the orcs
Leaving the forest, using the crops as cover Aaron advanced to the village wherefrom the shadows, he could hear the orcs resting in the houses that belonged to the villagers.

Understanding what Hal meant, Aaron simply sighed and advanced to the house to the west of the town and after verifying that in the room he was going to enter there was only one orc he entered through the window and stealthily approaching the sleeping orc.
Taking the opportunity Aaron jumped and after hitting the lower part of the orc's chest with a knee leaving him without air, he immobilized him, and at the same time he buried his dagger in the orc's neck preventing him from making any noise.
The orc was disoriented by the lack of air and pain, after a few seconds it stopped moving, and seeing that he had not caught the attention of the orc in the other room, Aaron decided to go out through the same window and surrounding the house he found his second objective.
The orc was in the living room of the house without knowing that his companion lay dead in the next room.
Not wanting to miss the chance, Aaron slipped behind the orc and waited while concentrating on a magic circuit for the orc to take a drink of the ale he had looted from the villagers.
When the carefree orc drank Aaron released his magical power which caused the Ale to freeze starting from the jar down to the orc's throat causing the orc to be shocked.
Knowing that the frozen ale would not last long and without giving him time to react, Aaron quickly approached and taking out a sword from his inventory and holding it with both hands he wedged it into the left side passing through the orc's ribs and pierced the heart of the orc which when looking at Aaron, he could only feel disbelief at what was happening as his consciousness faded rapidly.

Seeing that his attack had failed, Aaron charged at the orc chief again, who, enraged and in pain, waved his arm with all his might, sending Aaron flying through the window and alerting the entire town in the process.

Aaron getting up, and seeing several orcs approaching held his dislocated arm and back to the wall of an adjacent house where, leaning back to rearrange his arm, he looked at the orcs that had surrounded him.

In the distance he could hear sounds of combat coming from the barn where the orcs had locked up the villagers so Aaron knew that Tom and Dominic had entered the village which calmed him a bit.

Ignoring the sounds of the barn, the orcs that had surrounded Aaron when they saw him wounded, laughed as the orc chief came out of the house to see who had dared to attack him.
Seeing that it was only a human boy, he spit and deciding to kill Aaron himself, the orc chief snatched a club from one of the orcs that had surrounded Aaron and ordered the rest of the orcs to go and kill the rest of the intruders who were blocking the door of the barn where his rations were, he would kill the one who dared to hurt him.
Seeing that Aaron was unarmed, the orc took one of the old swords from his waist and threw it at Aaron's feet, who took it causing the orc chief to grin.
"How thoughtful…"

Preparing himself, Aaron took a low posture given the difference in sizes and his numb arm, he looked one last time in the direction of the barn where the orcs were heading.
Seeing that the group could hold out, Aaron focused on the orc chief and began his duel.
Understanding that this insect was not planning to attack, the orc chief advanced against Aaron who nimbly dodged his blow and counterattacked with a blow to the chest, but given the orc chief's armor and the poor quality of the sword, he did not cause any damage.
"Damn, he's too protected and not exposed at all"
Seeing this, Aaron circled around to dodge the attacks and while keeping defensive he thought about what he could do as he delivered blows that were stopped by the orc's bone armor or that at most caused some superficial wound causing the sword to splinter.

Hearing that, Aaron realized why the orc chief laughed when he took the sword from the ground, so he decided to bet everything on his next attack and charge.
Seeing the frustration in Aaron's eyes and his desperate charge, the orc chief laughed while with a ghoulish smile his gaze rested on the sword knowing what was about to happen as it was not the first time that a fool human had fallen for its farce of a duel.
Countering Aaron's blow which caused the sword to break, the orc chief laughed as he returned his gaze to match Aaron's, expecting to see the despair in Aaron's eyes as he used his free fist to deliver the final blow to Aaron, but what he saw made him shudder.
Aaron's gaze reflected coldness and all the frustration and despair he had during his charge had disappeared, without being able to stop the blow that the orc chief had begun to throw, he could only keep his gaze in Aaron's eyes as he felt like the world around him slowed down.
Aaron without much trouble dodged the orc's blow and using the orc's inertia, he drew from his inventory the icy edge pointing to the throat of the orc chief who, without being able to stop, could only feel his throat being pierced by said sword.
Falling to the ground, the orc chief brought his hands to his neck, trying in vain to stop the gushing blood.
Seeing this, Aaron approached the orc and with the broken sword in hand and planted the sword in its eye ending its suffering.
The orcs, when they understood that they were not able to finish off the two knights quickly and when they saw their boss fall, they began to run, seeing that the group reacted and managed to finish off 3 orcs that were relatively injured.
After that, the group approached Aaron and Luna worriedly jumped on Aaron and began to lick his face in concern.
"Easy girl, everything is fine"

After a couple of minutes waiting for her to calm down, Aaron realized that the girl had fallen asleep.

Placing the girl on the ground and covering her with a blanket, Aaron destroyed the altar that the orc chief had set up in the room and carrying the girl on his back, ignoring the moisture on her skirt, he went to the warehouse where the rest of the villagers were placing the bodies of the orcs in a single pile and burying the remains of their loved ones that they had managed to recover.
Without giving much thought, Aaron approached, but this caused all the villagers to turn their attention to the newcomer.
"Elizabeth! For Angela, she is alive "
Said one of the women who quickly approached Aaron.
"Don't worry, she's fine, she's just exhausted from everything that happened"
