The First World 1 - I Will Protect This Family Well!

A young girl dressed in a white dress opened her eyes.

The dark-haired girl then proceeds to look at the piano in front of her, slightly dazed.

After a while of being dazed, she observed her surroundings. After she made sure that there isn't anyone else in the piano room, she opened the information panel.

The name of the girl, is Alice Rune. She is the youngest daughter of Andrew Rune and Cecilia Rune.

The Rune family is the founder of the Rune Business Company. The current person in chairman of the company is Andrew Rune. The former chairman Aaron Rune had retired at the age of 56 and left the business to his son.

The Yeon family is also a business corporation, but it is located in the vast mountains. They are famous for their high quality flowers and good services.

Alice's parents met due to a business cooperation between the Yeon Corporation and Rune Company. The young and intelligent Mr. Rune then fell head over heels for her elegant and similarly intelligent mother.

The cooperation had been a success and the two had gotten closer to each other during that time. After a few months, the young man confessed his feelings to the beauty and she had agree to accept and return his feelings, as she had also developed feelings for him.

After an year or so, they got married. The two businesses also continued to bloom.

Despite being filthy rich, the Rune family has a good relationship with the other businesses, even the poor ones. Being on the Rune family's good side would be a huge benefit, however, the Rune family is indifferent about the clashes of other businesses.

Now, enough about that. Let's get back to Alice.

Alice has two elder siblings, Eleanor and Andrei. Eleanor is the eldest, being 4 years older than her, and Andrei is an year younger than Eleanor.

Alice is currently 10, that means Andrei is 13, while Eleanor is 14.

The girl in white dress took in the information calmly and indifferently.

She remember.

She always remember.

She still remember the day this wealthy and nice family fell apart.

The day that the so called "protagonist", ruined everything.

The Protagonist is called Liliana Greene, she attends Aru Academy and is one of her sister's classmate. Her sister Eleanor is a student council member, she is highly respected and well-liked. Lilliana, on the other hand, is one of the most beautiful girl in their school, she is quite popular with the boys, but half the girls envy and hate her. She has boys confessing to her at least once a week.

Liliana Greene originally live aboard in Seine, and the Greene Family rans very successful small businesses there. The Greene Family isn't as powerful as other business families since they ran businesses like flower shops and cake shops, however, they are well-liked.

*Note: Seine is the name of a country. (I think it's a fine name)

As for how the all-powerful Rune family got ruined…

To make things short, Liliana was actually a green-tea bitch, and she's envious of Eleanor. This small bit of envy quickly became terrible jealousy, especially when she found out that Eleanor is not only talented, but has a powerful family. She wanted to have what Eleanor have, that's why she plans to be good friends with Eleanor, meet her family and friends, and slowly replace her.

Unfortunately, her plan failed and Eleanor soon found out what her scheme was. After that, they were no longer friends, but Liliana still felt vengeful. That was why Liliana wanted to ruin the Rune family. Well, she ruined a lot of families because she was vengeful.

Ling: Isn't she a real bitch? (I did my best after all)

As for how she accomplished that, she got involved with three men.

Liliana first met the main, or first male lead. The first male lead's name is Tyler Ince, he is the heir of Ince family. The Ince Family only half as powerful as the Rune Family. The Rune family has way more connections and secret trump cards, not to mention the many international businesses they own. The Runes are greatly liked, respected, and feared, while the Ince family isn't as capable as the Rune.

Tyler Ince will not be able to destroy the Rune family with only the power of the Ince Family, not to mention Liliana. However, the other two man, are also male leads, and they have about the same power as the Ince Family. Theo Wends, the brilliant heir of the Wends Family, who was famous for their trading company, and Liam Decre, the son of a great musician and lawyer. The Decre Family dabbles in both music and law, music can help them earn popularity, while law can help them earn respect and fear.

The combination of these three great family can barely knock down the Runes, but there are also the secret schemes of Liliana that helped the process of destroying the Runes.

Tyler first heard rumors about how the school beauty have the guts rejected a lot of men from rich families, this cause him to suspect that Liliana have great backgrounds and he decided to make friends with her. He met Liliana, and…fell in love with her at first sight. Liliana also noticed this, but she ignore it after Tyler said that he just want to be friends with her, which she accepted.

The two became good friends, but even though they are "friends", there always seem to be a bit of romantic ambition between them. This cause some rumors about the two's relationship, but they both insist that their only just good "friends".

Liliana then met Theo Wends in a restaurant during holiday break. She was arguing with some of her female classmates and Theo got attracted by the commotion. As the argument was about to turn into a violent fight, Theo, as the shrewd trade businessman he is, manage to break up the fight and got the other girls to apologize to Liliana. Liliana then invited Theo for a meal as a thank you. During the meal, they chat and go to know each other more. They discovered that Theo will be one of the new students transferring to Aru Academy next month, so they decided to exchanged numbers.

Liam Decre was a student at Wence Academy, so he was the third male lead that Liliana met. They only met due to a school trip in which both academies decided to join together their staffs and students. The trip was to one of the beautiful beaches in Aruhen, Fellora Beach.

*Note: Aruhen is the country's name, Aru Academy and Wence Academy are both one of the country's best schools. (I made the names right up on the spot)

Since it was a trip of both Aru Academy and Wence Academy, two prestigious schools of Aruhen, there will, of course, be some competition and conflicts between them. Not to mention that all three main male leads are all in one place with the protagonist.

Liliana and Liam met during the school trip and got acquainted with each other once they found out that the other can play piano well. Liliana has taken piano lessons when she was young, she gave up soon though, since she actually was never that passionate about it.

Ling: Her skills were terrible, that was the main reason she gave up.

However, for her scheme, she had planned to meet Liam and get his support, so she have make a good impression. So, a few months before the school trip, she told Tyler that she was interested in piano and asked him about whether he can help her recommend a good piano instructor. Tyler, of course, agreed, as he was head over heels for her.

Ling: I almost typed "Tyler, that fool-"

After much difficulties and the excellent guidance of the piano instructor, Liliana finally manage good enough piano skills to attract the attention of Liam. They became good friends after been acquainted.

However, the other two male leads, Tyler and Theo are also there. As Tyler was head over heels for Liliana, he was jealous of how close Liliana and Liam are.

Theo, on the other hand, regards Liliana as someone he like, but is not head over heels for her like Tyler.

Tyler also fought with Theo over Liliana before. But now, as they face Liam, a new love rival and is even a student of their academy's rival school, they decided to join forces against him. So when the competition between the two schools happen…it was…eventful.

The competition is made up of small contests between the two school's students, but due to Tyler, Theo, and Liam, the small contests seem like battles while the competition itself is like a war.

The competition ended up with Aru Academy winning, since both academies' other students got overwhelm by the three male leads' vicious rivalry, only those three are the ones actually participating in the competitions. And since its only those three, and a two against one, Liam naturally lost, although he manage to get Theo out. (More details about the competition will be revealed in later chapters)

The three male leads were still hostile to each other, but they restricted themselves due to Liliana. However, few days after the school trip, Liam transferred to Aru Academy.

Rumors then ran around about the relationship of the three male leads and Liliana. Liliana and the male leads quickly confirmed that they are all just her friends, nevertheless, some students still think that there's more to their relationship.

Seeing that Liliana's with so many handsome males, some of the female students were jealous and started spreading rumors about how Liliana is a fake white lotus and actually a scum woman. (Which is actually true)

Liliana broke down due to the rumors and decided to take a break from school. She told the male leads that because of the rumors and bullying, she will be moving back to Seine for a while. The male leads were worried about her and mad at the people who spread the rumors, so they used their powers to find out who spread the rumors and expelled them from the academy.

Liliana found out what the male leads had done and…her head started to brim with confidence.

She contacted all the male leads to meet up and talk. She then told them about all the people that were mean to her and about how she want revenge against all of them. Tyler was head over heels in love with her, so he unhesitatingly agreed. Theo was already starting to fall for her and he admired her bold goal, so he agreed. Liam was shocked about what Liliana said and agreed to help her, as he had develop some feelings for her and he also want to help as a friend.

And so, under the influence of Liliana, many families that Liliana once schemed against fell one by one, while the ones that done this amazing feat was actually tricked by someone they thought was innocent and righteous.

The Rune family was one of the last ones to fall. The elegant and beautiful mansion was then burned and the ashes were tossed away carelessly by Liliana. She then used the land of the once beautiful place into a place with a maximum security prison. This is an insult to the Runes that once lived there.

As for what happened to the Runes themselves…

Mr. Rune died in a car accident, however, the accident seems to be intentional. The police has been working on the case, but they still can't find the culprit.

After the death of her husband, Mrs. Rune locked herself in her room. The Rune kids tacitly took their luggage and let their mother be in the mansion alone to grief. They know that their mother would need some time alone to get over their father's death. Unfortunately, staying in the mansion has cost the life of Mrs. Rune. Her ashes were tossed away along with the mansion's ashes.

With the deaths of their parents, the Rune kids can only rely on themselves, as the Runes has no other relatives other than their aunt who lives abroad.

The Rune kids bought a house using the their inheritance, and tried to live life. However, Eleanor soon fell into major depression while Andrei decided to go to the military.

After two years, as Alice was about to finish 9th grade, Eleanor finally gave up. She transferred all her money to her siblings' account and committed suicide by jumping off a high building.

Andrei quickly rushed back from the military once he heard of his sister's death. Even though he isn't a general, he is one of the most excellent soldiers in Aruhen Army. He has a calmer mind than before so after grieving their sister's death, he sent his younger sister to attend a boarding school.

The original Alice would be extremely sadden by deaths of her parents and sister, and maybe even commit suicide just like her sister. However, the person isn't Alice, but Avalyn. Avalyn was angered by the development and deeply want to retaliate, nevertheless, she was still restricted and still needs to save her strength to break out at a later time.

The final event that happened and would have break the mind of the original Alice is the death of Andrei. Andrei died due to a sudden attack from terrorists. Although a good soldier, he was overwhelmed by the many terrorists.

As the original would have committed suicide, Avalyn was given the choice to continue living as a depressed Alice or commit suicide.

To Alice, there's no point for her to continue living. Avalyn, on the other hand, just want to go to the next world and gather enough power to break her shackles. And so, the young 15 years old girl committed suicide.

The current time is the beginning of the school year Liliana and Tyler met.

After sitting there in the piano room for a few more minutes, Avalyn heard footsteps coming closer to the door of the room.

The door opened and a girl wearing an Aru Academy student council uniform came in. The girl has dark hair and shiny cyan blue eyes.

Eleanor walked over to the piano and smiled lovingly at her sister, "Alice, I'm about to leave for school, be good at home, okay?"

The younger girl sitting on piano blinked at her sister.

"Sis?"

"Yes?"

"Can I…go to school?"

Eleanor widen her shiny eyes in shock, what did my little sister just say?!? She wants to go to school?!?

Avalyn blinked her eyes at her innocently, "I don't want to be homeschooled anymore…I want to experience school life…"

Eleanor soon calmed down, her eyes now shining with excitement, but also a bit of worry. "Are you sure Ali?"

She then met her sister's eyes that were filled with anticipation and determination. Eleanor then laugh.

"I will tell Mother and Father to arrange everything." Eleanor told her sister with a smile, "I'll stay home today, and we can go to the academy together tomorrow."

Avalyn smiled brightly, "Okay Sis!"

As Eleanor went to go inform their parents, the bright smile slowly turned in a smile that seems slightly…sorrowful.

Now that I am not longer restricted, I will protect this family well!
