The Duke's Unavoidable Attraction

The magicians surrounded the numerous barriers one by one. They had put some magical rocks around the infected ones and a blue sphere of light had appeared around countless crazy creatures. Then the knights prepared their shields and weapons ready to defend in case something went wrong. However, soon they will know that that will not be necessary.... hehehe, they will get so impressed.

"Miss Lucia, are you sure? Those things…"

"It's okay, Master Yves, they won't be able to move, just stay back and lift the barrier for me."

"Yes… Miss Lucia," I saw him hesitating and that gave out a good feeling, at least someone that cared. "Then… everyone, ready!"

"Yes," they lift their shields and the wizards began to whisper some words. The big sphere of light that was keeping the infected was receding bit by bit.
