"How can you tell a person what you feel about that person if you can't muster any strength to swallow your pride just to say what you want to say?"

That was the question Vin Santos kept asking himself. Still he wasn’t sure on how to do that. He never experienced that feeling before. Since that start of high school, he always got caught up in different criminal cases. But on the last year of high school, things would change. 

He never thought he'd be off track. He can't sing when he want to. He became deaf and is now having a hard time following the beat. The tunes and lyrics are now disconnected. He can't remember the songs he sung, and he realized “I’ve lost my music”.

"Now, now. Why don't you take a seat and let's enjoy this little family reunion shall we?"

"I can't hardly call this a reunion."

Grandfather snapped his fingers and two men entered the room with a person in handcuffs in front of them. The person's head is covered in a sack so I can't see who it is. Then one of the two men removed the sack on the person's head.

"Mom?! Release her, she didn't do anything wrong."

"Oh, but she did. She went with that Frair Santos. The Santos and Coraceros have been archenemies for centuries, but your mother fell in love with that rascal Santos. But my brother took them away. They went in hiding, but now that I found all of you I'll make Daron the new head of the Coraceros."

"Release my mother and Daron, I'll be the new head."

"Like I said, you're not qualified. I've been watching you these past few months and I noticed that you're too soft to run this family."
