Chapter 39: The Nine Celestial Maidens Secret

She was so angry at the old man that the first thing she did after stepping inside the restriction was to scold Elder Du for his vicious words.

Only after a while, she noticed the different transformation of his body.

She looked more carefully at him and found out that in addition to his hands, his arms, shoulders, and chest were also different from a normal human being.

Those parts were larger and more muscular than before and the black fur now not only covered his hands but the other mutated portions as well.

She was sure that this strange half-beast form, not only improved the old man's cultivation, since now was at the border with the God Realm, but she could also sense that his physical body was now stronger than before.

Red kept looking at Elder Du with interest but didn't realize that at one side Zhu Huli and Bai Lang were looking at her strangely, because of her confusing words.

They couldn't understand why she was calling their daughter, little sister.

YueLiang told them yesterday about Qiang, her older sister, but it was impossible for her to appear here, now.

Zhu Huli thought for a moment and finally asked again, with a more gentle tone: "Little girl, who are you? And how do you know my daughter?"

Red stopped looking at Elder Du and turned around towards their direction.

"… Sorry, for the barrier, aunty. But I have a little time. My name is Red, a friend of your daughter… and Tian Yang." Red said kindly, with a beautiful smile on her face.

Zhu Huli doubted Red's relationship with her daughter at the beginning, but she relaxed when she heard Red mention Tian Yang's name.

"So, you are a friend of Tian Yang and my little daughter. Hmm… I finally understand why he was so calm even against that group of enemies." Zhu Huli smiled and began moving towards her, ignoring Elder Du, who was now at one side with an ashen face and kept looking at Red with immense fear.

Even he wasn't sure why, but he could feel a strange and dangerous power hidden inside that slim body.

Those lively flames moving around her before made him understand that Red's control, over the Fire qi, reached the peak of a normal Mortal Cultivator or even surpassed it.

With the presence of this new terrifying enemy, he realized that it was impossible to survive.

Zhu Huli kept walking towards Red and when she was finally at her side, tried to caress the beautiful hair of Red, but something extraordinary happened.

The hand of Zhu Huli didn't touch something soft but entered inside Red's figure.

Unfortunately, Red couldn't react in time and let Zhu Huli's hand enter inside her head.

This was the second time for her to experience something like this.

The first time naturally was Tian Yang's soft hands caressing her body and was the first feeling she felt in her long life, but at that time it was a bit different because her body was in a particular state.

It wasn't an imaginary body made only by Fire qi like now, but there was also something else.

When Zhu Huli's hand entered inside of her, Red sensed a new sensation and was a bit scared by it.

She was still learning the different types of sensations that a body could feel.

It was a pity that Xifeng and the others weren't there to help them at this crucial moment.

That particular feeling didn't last long, but when she finally recovered, Red started looking behind, though the fissure on the wall with panic all over her face.

She looked at the distance and relaxed only when she saw that Tian Yang wasn't in the surrounding.

Red looked at the stunned Zhu Huli, and pleaded: "Aunty, please don't speak about it to him…"

But Zhu Huli just stood there with a shocked expression and didn't answer her.

When her hand went inside Red's figure, Zhu Huli felt her thin fingers moving inside something like a warm mist.

She removed her hand from there only after hearing Red's words and spoke with a worried expression: "Little Red, Are you okay? What's happening to your body?"

"Aunty… I'm fine. But please don't tell Tian Yang about it." Red sighed with sadness.

"Little Red, don't worry. It will be our little secret. But you look a little down, do you want to talk to me about it?" Zhu Huli smiled.

"Thank you, aunty. But I can't stay for too long here. My energy is still a bit limited. Maybe later when YueLiang wakes up." Red said and then started walking toward the old man.

"Wait… where are you going?" Zhu Huli asked, but she was still a bit confused by Red's words.

This little girl with red hair was really a mystery for her and couldn't understand what the hell was going on right now.

"Sorry, aunty… I need that old fart, alive. But don't worry, he will sufferer even more in our hands. We will let him pay for his disgusting words." Red explained as flames began surrounding her body again, gradually forming the same flaming figure of before.

When Elder Du saw the red beauty walking towards him, he began moving back until his body touched something hard.

He didn't need to turn around to know that he reached the edge of the restriction.

The cold energy from the barrier helped him regain some of his calm.

Since there was no way for him to survive after today, with the last bit of courage still inside of him, he decided to use one of the Ancient techniques of the Lang Clan.

It was a really powerful art that let someone with his type of bloodline to increase for some time the cultivation stage, but naturally, there was also a terrible counter-effect.

If he couldn't control the new savage power, he would lose control and heavily damage his body.

He looked savagely at the woman for one last time and closed his eyes after taking a deep breath.

He calmed down and let his bloodline flow faster than a normal human.

Small black drops emerged from his blood and transformed from a dark red mist.

The Heavenly Veins inside of him slowly grew larger and began to give off a bright red color.

All the things happening inside of him naturally also changed his body outside.

The black fur covering his upper body turned white in a moment and long red veins appeared all over the skin.

"What the hell are you doing, bastard??" Red shouted, alarmed by the strange phenomenon happening in front of her.

"Damn you. It's all your fault… AHHHHH…"

This was his last moment of sanity because when the veins reached his head, the eyes turned completely red and only his angry howl kept coming out from his mouth.

Zhu Huli and Bai Lang looked at the old man with a serious expression because Elder Du's cultivation level was now beyond a normal Low God and they couldn't even say how much strong his physical body was now.

Unfortunately, they didn't have the time to analyze the new situation better, because the old man started charging towards Red.

Boom

The floor under his feet fractured and his body disappeared from the spot, leaving behind a large hole in the ground.

His speed was even faster than Bai Lang's attack from before.

It was difficult for them to see clearly his movements.

Also Red was a little surprised, but it wasn't enough to scare her.

She couldn't follow his movements properly, but she still felt the strong and aggressive presence coming in her direction.

She closed her eyes and tried to feel the energy change around her.

Thankfully, she acted in time, as there were coming from her right side,

She jumped back and not even half a breath later, two terrifying claws pierced the ground in the same spot.

Boom

The ground fractured into countless pieces with the explosive power of the attack.

But he didn't stop there and instead continued to punch the ground repeatedly in the same point.

The only thing inside his mind was to destroy everything in front of him and didn't even realize that his target was now standing twenty feet away from there.

"Little Red, come here." Zhu Huli shouted from the distance when she saw the destructive power of Elder Du.

"Aunty, don't worry. His strength rose a lot, but it's clear that he can't control it… Look, he kept hitting the same spot like a stupid beast." Red said, looking in her direction.

"I know, but it's better if we fight against him together. Let your uncle stand at the front. He is the best in close combat." Zhu Huli pointed at the calm Bai Lang at her side.

"Fine. Uncle give me some time, I will use the rest of my power to heavily hurt him. But please don't kill him, give him to Tian Yang, later." Red spoke after thinking for a while.

She used a lot of her energy to break inside the restriction and naturally her time was now ever shorter.

She could only stay outside for another minute, so she decided to use all her Fire qi for one last attack.

Bai Lang couldn't understand why she wanted him to be alive, but still nodded and kept looking at the mad old man from the distance.

There was no need for Bai Lang to attack him now since the only thing he needed to do was to gain some time for her.

Unfortunately, the savage beast stopped his barrage of punch after a few seconds and started looking around, searching for the next target.

He was immediately attracted by the bright red light coming from Red and charged at it with all his speed.

But after a few steps, he felt a strong power forcing his body to stop his movements, but it only halted his charge for a few breaths.

The space qi from Zhu Huli wasn't enough to stop him, so Bai Lang started his attack from behind.

He struck Elder Du's back with his silver sword.

His attacks were fast and precise and hit the same point a few times, but found out that he couldn't pierce at all his thick skin.

It was so tough that even his precious sword couldn't leave a scratch on it.

When the strange power disappeared, Elder Du didn't keep charging at Red, but turned around and sent his claw towards Bai Lang's body.

Bai Lang began his counterattack and used his sword to block those terrifying black nails, which were like long knives pointed at his face.

When they collided, sparks flew everywhere and Bai Lang felt a powerful pressure forcing his body back.

He wanted to resist it, but when he tried to release a bit of his power, he felt a strong pain coming from his chest.

"Damn… Huli. Block him a little longer." Bai Lang shouted and arched his back a bit behind, reducing the pressure on his rib cage.

He didn't expect that the old man was so strong now.

He knew that the wounds on his body would get worse if he kept pushing his body too hard, so he looked for a way to reduce the damage.

"Lang, be careful." Zhu Huli cried with a worried expression.

The enemy was now at a completely different level from before and became a lot more difficult for her to constrain his movements.

ROAR!!

When he felt his body locked up again by that energy, Elder Du roared angrily at Bai Lang's face and began moving his shoulders forwards with more force.

This forced Bai Lang to take a few steps back, so to evade the tips of the nails just a few inches from his face.

AH

Unfortunately, the pressure over his body was now even greater and reopened the wounds on his chest.

Bai Lang's blood came out of them and soiled his long black dress.

Zhu Huli didn't know what to do.

Her Space qi was rapidly decreasing and couldn't use it to shift the position of Bai Lang, since she was using all of it to block the savage old man.

Luckily, she could relax because Red finally completed her preparation and was ready to send her attack.

"Thanks to both of you for your help. We will meet again later. Uncle, you can retreat now."

Bai Lang didn't waste his energy anymore and shifted the sword to his left side as his body moved to the right side abruptly.

This made the savage beast fall to the ground since he was still pressuring with all his body in front of him.

Zhu Huli looked back and a shocked expression appeared on her face because the only thing she saw was a tiny red sphere standing on the tip of a floating hand.

When Bai Lang moved away, the sphere slammed at an incredible speed into Elder Du's lower body and the floating hand slowly began to disintegrate.
