<p>Lucas registered the recognition in Nikolay's voice but Imani was popular, after all she was the one who found the cure to the Sirizan virus, so he didn't think Nikolay actually knew her. "Imani is missing?" Nikolay repeated just as Vinay crashed through the huge window that was close to Takeda.</p>

<p>The sudden noise distracted everyone, making them turn their attention to the person that just came in, and Lucas got to his feet in an instant before rushing over to Aryna, wrapping an arm around her neck. He would have gone for Nikolay but he knew the witch would use her powers against him and he was also sure that she was quite valuable to Nikolay because having a witch on one's side would have lots of advantages.</p>
