Even after Lucas had released Aryna from his grip, Nikolay still had fear evident on his face and Lucas realized that it was not because of Aryna but because of Imani. He furrowed his brows as he gave the vampire king a once-over.

Imani hadn't mentioned Nikolay before and he didn't think she knew him personally so he wondered if the vampire was one of the numerous fanboys that sent Imani gifts every day.

He began to rack his brain for who could have taken Imani if it wasn't vampires. It had to be someone that hated him because from the messages he received from the unknown number, it was obvious that this was personal.
