"What is going on? Where is she?" Lucas asked, anger seeping into his voice, as his eyes darted between Aryna and Nikolay. What he got from what Nikolay had said was that Aryna knew where Imani was which made him wonder why she lied that the tracking spell didn't work.

Aryna's mouth set in a hard line while Vinay quickly pulled out Lucas' phone from his jacket pocket to check on Lola and saw that she had already ended the call. He muted the mic and turned off the camera before he came into the house so she must have thought it was a signal issue. He didn't want to call her here so he sent her a message, asking if everything was alright, and she responded immediately with 'Everything's alright. I still can't reach Imani, is she at the lab?'

Aryna swallowed as she glanced at Lucas and then at Nikolay. The both of them wouldn't hesitate to hurt her if she didn't tell them what they wanted to know.
